  1. I had a solid chrome one that had the swayback. I don’t recall any difference in action when I tossed it. I wonder what the reasoning was for building them like that.
  2. For those who’ve took a fly rod to the Destin Florida beaches, what fly patterns have you had most success with? More specifically, late July. I’ll be taking my 8wt with a floating and a sink tip line. Any extra line care tips I need to do besides a wash and dry?
  3. I really enjoyed the pro with pro format and watching the livestream! Nice change up from the traditional format
  4. I’m thinking about making the visit up, are they having it in the store or the convention center at wonders of wildlife?
  5. It was caught out of the little sac, but meanmouth I was taught are a cross between a spotted bass and smallmouth, and it seemed to have the Kentucky characteristics in the jaw but the body favored more smallmouth and the colorings of a sun bathed smallmouth, however, there is a distinct lateral line (noticed better in the first photo) like a Kentucky. The jaw did not extend past the eye but rather ran down the middle. I’ve caught meanmouth out of table rock and they had very clear, distinct, markings. This one fish still stumps me.
  6. I caught this bass back in 2019 out of a creek near my old hometown and it always stumped me. I thought it was a meanmouth but never felt 100 percent with that answer. With the discovery of the neosho bass within the last couple years (if I’m not mistaken), could’ve this been a neosho bass? Only two pictures I got of that fish.
  7. Does anyone have some recent info regarding water temperature around the main to mid lake area on either big sac or little sac arms, any ice in the creeks and which ones? Shad kill? Thank You!
  8. Last time I had one replaced, Fin and Feather in Springfield did the work and turn around was pretty quick too.
  9. I’ve always had better luck near rockaway for bass due to the bigger “channel swings” and seems like more consistent water temps, but those creeks by powersite I have caught some smaller bass out of. As far as navigating, I’ve personally never had much trouble, just follow the channel. Plenty of dirt shallow docks on that end of the lake though as it’s not a supper deep lake. They’ve been pulling a lot of water through the lake recently and the shad have been flowing through the turbines on the Table Rock side. When the water flows, lake rises, similar to a TVA lake. Jerkbait over the grass lines, an a-rig, and jig on the steep banks. Probably wouldn’t hurt to toss a trout colored glide bait around either(one that’s dark trout colors, as they get a dark red in them this time of year). Catch one, slow down and pick apart the area, there’s likely to be more. It can be tricky, but there are some good ones in that lake. Good Luck!
  10. No longer available!
  11. I have a 9’ 4wt TFO pro 2 I would like to trade for 6 wt of equivalent value. It’s practically new with only about 4 outings on it. Not a scratch on the blank. Still has plastic wrap on handle. Comes with matching sock. Can send more photos upon request. love the rod but, as mentioned, doesn’t get much use with my fishing style. Table rock or taneycomo area meet up only.
  12. With the cooler months approaching, I’ve been going through my jig making supplies, is there a shorter shank alternative to the 32798 Mustad hook?
  13. I remember when they were $7 when they came out and thought that was expensive until I heard about megabass 110s😂
  14. Brand New Ugly Stik Gx2 7’ ultra light. Still has tags. Never seen water. - $30 8’ glass fly rod. Loads a 5wt excellent! Good shape, has some use, but I believe it’s an older Garcia rated for 6/7wt. - $30 Will make deal if someone wants both. Can include reel with fly rod for extra cost. Would also trade both for a 7’6”-7” fly rod. Located near Table Rock Lake/Branson West. Thanks!
