  1. I talked to the MO Water Patrol in Jeff this am. They called BS on it also. Said not since 94 was it necessary.
  2. Haven't heard of it. Who issued the ticket? http://search.mo.gov/search?q=trolling+motor&site=dor&output=xml_no_dtd&client=dor&num=10&proxystylesheet=dor&x=46&y=14
  3. What species are you hoping to catch?
  4. Is that even legal??
  5. If you want to be successful from the bank then play the wind. If you don't have a map of Stockton, get one. Check out the wind when it is strong and see what banks will have it blowing in. Go to those areas and fish. I have caught and or seen them caught from the bank all over the lake depending on the time of the year and the direction of the wind. I used to love fishing with a fly rod on points inside the Masters area with a good stiff south wind.
  6. Check the flats just north of Googer Creek, the flats by the bouy across from Rouark Campground or just west of the island at Masters.
  7. If you have a good fuel stabilizer the motor should be fine. As for the batteries, if they are flooded cell and you leave the charger on all winter it will more than likely boil them dry and ruin them. If the storage is anywhere close to you, go by once a month and plug the charger in and let it charge up the batteries. If it isn't then take the batteries home and keep them topped off.
  8. They have been around there for a long time. There aren't very many of them. Some above Beaver and some around the mouth of Cedar.
  9. I talked to the COE yesterday and was told that they weren't sure if any ramps will be useable. They are supposed to check them this week and have an idea by next week. I talked to the DNR today and their feeling is that their ramps and courtesy docks will be unuseable. The COE also told me that it was a 5 week instead of a 5 month work project.
  10. She was a bit tough today. No wind. Managed 15 on spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, jigs, and tubes. Mostly dinks. Lindley arm.
  11. Yes it is. I'm going again tomorrow but there won't be any wind and I need wind to catch many fish.
  12. I went the other way. My pard and I put in at Nemo and fished up the creek then down to the main lake. We were using plastics, jigs, spinnerbaits, and buzz baits. We caught close to 40 bass with 20 keepers. But like you only a few over 15". Pea gravel did not even give us a bite all day long.
  13. Get a petition campaign started, collect a few thousand signatures, and then send it to the DNR and cc to your legislators.
  14. CU 200 sold pending payment and pickup.
  15. I assume that you are in NE. On your way to Phil's I would only be a few miles out of the way. I may be able to arrange for you to stop by if you can give me an idea of what time you will be getting into the area. Let's work this out with PMs instead of emails.
  16. Yes sir they are. I thought I give this forum a while then go to Craig's list.
  17. Those 2 flew low over Pom on Wednesday morning, not quite low enough to make out the pilots but still low and fast.
  18. Trav I used to only tie on spinnerbaits and cranks but I have some problems with my hands that won't allow me to fish that way any longer without surgery which I am putting off so I'll keep throwing the jig, worm and tube.
  19. No didn't try any tops. Threw a buzz for a while and nothing. I'd rather fish a jig than eat.
  20. I was over in the other arm one morning this week. I could not find any fish deep on structure or cover. All my fish came on swimming jigs in less than 3 fow. Had 16 with 10 keepers. You would have beaten me as my best was 2# so I'd prolly been down around 7 or 8. I'm planning to try the Lin next week myself. I never saw any whites either and didn't see any last fall.

  22. I get DI oil for my Opti at Sport Boats in Ozark... 30 bones/gallon.
  23. I called the license office and got you some info. If you pay personal property taxes on anything you have in MO you can register the baot. If you don't then you will have to go to the county court house where your cabin is located and get a personal property tax waiver. Take all your info as well as any boat docs. to the license bureau in that area and register your boat. Keep in mind that the way things go in MO you wlll prolly have to make 2 or 3 trips. Good luck.
  24. 101° here, I'm staying by the AC.
  25. Bud I don't know what you are getting but he took all four of them and asked questions about the 4 Gloomis rods that they came off.
