It's hard to say since you did not mention which model of boat and what brand of engine. It does seem quite high for a 12 year old boat. You can look it all up in the NADA Guides and find out whether or not it is priced right.

Hunter the main lake at night is starting to pick up. We had many, many fish the other night. We caught whites, largemouth, smallmouth, Kentuckies, and walleye. They were mostly on points about 15' deep.
It makes on sense but there are signs which state no fishing with 200 feet of the marina. At state park there are signs stating no fishing within the breakers but lots of people do.
I was ordered off like that once at a boat dock and I told the person to call the water patrol and we would get a good idea of who controlled what on government property. No one ever came.
What software is available for that model? I have topo and streets for mine but they may be too old for your unit. I use them all the time and also have an SD card with 95 lake topos on it.
I for one think the MDC water level idea is a bunch of bunk. That is the story Pratt tried to get me to buy. He wasn't even sampling that part of the lake.
I fished down there for more than 30 years with all kinds of high and low water. It never seemed to make a difference in the spawn. Bull Shoals was always the best white bass fishery in the area for the first 4 months of the year. Now I won't even waste the gasoline to drive down there.
I wish someone would put about a million stripers in it since there are no white bass stocking programs.
It took MDC 2 years to admit there was a problem because they do most of their sampling on the other end of the lake.
As far as the fish disappearing, a diver reported that the bottom was litterly covered with dead white bass in the winter of 04-05. As for you not seeing them, dead fish don't necessarily float.
Yes and add cards with different topo maps on them. One that can take you some place it has never been not just back to where you have taken it before.
Steve that is the same one I have except I bought mine as soon as they came out and paid $350. I have a couple of software programs which go with it. I don't go anywhere except to Wal-Mart with out it. It is always in the boat or truck.
All of the people that I know of who bought gps units without mapping capability have quit using them. What ever brand you buy, be sure to get that or you will have an expensive dust collector.
Those crappie for sure have been close to the bank for the last couple of weeks up the rivers. We have been doing quite well with several double limits.
