  1. Sorry, new not used, but Bruce Tangora at Tangora Marine in Nixa sold a friend of mine some Nissans for a bargain price.
  2. It shouldn't change much since they didn't get much snow. Another stream which has trout and runs into Crane Creek is Spring Creek. It can be accessed in down town Hurley.
  3. Here is a few you might consider if you want a marine setup. http://www.overtons.com/modperl/overtons/o...amp;catnum=2L13
  4. Thanks Phil. I suppose you are not talking about today when you say warming.
  5. So has anybody been out? I know TR is accessable, how 'bout Truman, Pomme de Terre, or Stockton?
  6. Sorry about that. I am halfway between Table Rock and Stockton. I noticed that several rural schools are still out which leads me to believe that there is still a lot of ice out there and may be a week from very many clean ramps and lots.
  7. I want to go fishing. Does anyone know of any ramps on any local lakes which are not snow and or ice covered?
  8. The cold rain and snow runoff should help you with the turn over which you want Phil. MDC says it happens at 39 degrees.
  9. We could use 8-10" of rain to get the lakes up to a good level and a little over pool. Come on wet winter.
  10. I don't know who owns them now, but I assume the quality hasn't changed. When Genmar owned them they came with a lifetime hull warranty. In my book Lund is one notch above all other aluminums.
  11. You might try fishing that tube weedless and weightless.
  12. That is the first I have heard of any surfacing in a long time. I have been fishing off and on all summer at Stockton and haven't seen any. I did hear of a few guys catching some whites while bass fishing in the river above Birch's Branch about a week ago. It should be about time for them to be on the windy banks.

    White's

Up until 2003 I caught lots of white bass on upper BS. In 03 I caught a few. In 04 I caught less. In 05 I didn't go. In 06 I didn't go. I haven't heard any good news about whites in that area for 4 years now. I hope that they make a comeback.
  14. If you know what you are doing and at what you are looking, you can get some really good buys. A couple of my friends live close and go there nearly every day to look for bargains. I buy quite a bit of clothes and shoes on sale there but never rods and reels.
  15. I was talking to a freind who sells some stuff on Ebay. Some where in his dealings, he said he came across a guy in Lebanon, MO who has sold 2,900 reconditioned reels which he purchased at the outlet.
  16. Mostly what you will be seeing is rock bluffs with small coves a few flats and feeder creeks. The brush piles can be anywhere. Some are out in 40 fow on flats some are on points some a lot of them are in pockets. Some of them are placed by the state and should have signs on the bank. However, for ever on they have put out, individuals have put out dozens. You should be able to see the tops of some of them sticking out of the water. I am sorry I can't give you more info. but I haven't fished Bull Shoals in over two months. I have been fishing more to the north lately.
  17. Bull shoals is a tough clear water lake. I assume that you will be fishing out of the lower end. I haven't been below Buck Creek in a long time but nearly every point and many banks and cuts have man made brush piles. I know of one guy alone who has put 800 of them down. I try to find them on my depth finder then use top water early and late over them. I like a Trig salt craw fished through them when there is no top water bite. Other than that I expect you will be fishing deep unless you get a good wind for a spinnerbait bite.
  18. I have been lurking/joining this site for several weeks. It seems to me to be too general in scope and quite dominated by trout fishing. I think something in the general fishing or perhaps bass fishing instead of all the lakes, streams, creeks, etc. would "perhaps" have more input from some us "lurkers/joiners". Am I in this boat all by myself or are there others like me?
  19. I don't know how big your motor is. If you have the range, I have also caught a lot of them around the Fairfield area, in and around the trees across the lake from Indian Island. While you are moving around, don't overlook the O6 area as well. Good luck.
  20. We caught some on the drop on the long campground point at Masters one night but they weren't surfacing. We just got tired of looking and started fishing. We didn't catch a lot, maybe 10-12. I haven't been back there in several weeks. It is too hot to be on the water right now.
  21. I have been looking for them off and on all summer and have never seen more than just a few at a time and only up for 10 seconds or so. I have not seen morning whites at all. I have mostly been in the Cedar Ridge area.
  22. I hope they get it. Those people in Rockaway Beach have been suckin' the hind tit since the riot back in the early 60s.
  23. I believe I would want a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc opinion befor I started eating poison ivy.
  24. If you get it on you, try to wash it off within 15 minutes with soap and water.

    whites

White bass will hit many different kinds of baits. Some of them include: inline spinners small plastic grubs top water baits top waters with a jig about 1' behind them spoons jigs crankbaits (both lipped and lipless) minnow type baits It all depends in what part of the water column they happen to be situated. They can be found anywhere from the bottom to the surface depending on season and time of day.
