  1. I am in I will tie a Rattle Snake, it was created by Chris Helm. When I get a second here at the shop I will upload a Photo of the fly. I hope I am not to late because this is an awesome fly. The fly is a deer hair popper. Terry
  2. Yes I can't wait I am in for sure maybe I will get one of DD Clousers that catch world record fish.
  3. Cricket and Ness... Thank you for giving me my first laugh of the day!!! As a property owner with some desirable fishing and hunting, I can attest to the fact that the simple knock on the door is the absolute best approach to gaining permission. A letter would be OK seeing as how I am not at the farm very often. Nothing offends me more than someone who ASSUMES they should have the right to just take off across my private property. Or someone who will stoop to sneaking across to gain access. This practice prompted me to lease the hunting rights to the property and then post it from anyone else. It's plain RUDE. I've spent too many hours cleaning up the mess those folks made cutting fences and leaving their trash. Those who ask seem to refrain from doing that...
  4. Bob Clouser was with St Croix, but got "disenchanted" and Rick put him on his team. Bob had full control of designing the rod and made it like he wanted. He also gave some very high kudos (no small feat to obtain from Bob Clouser) to the TFO engineers. He told me "they got it right" very quickly. Now if I can just get Rick to make me a TFO pro...
  5. Hey Bill... Yeah... I want it all... just bring it by the house... But seriously.... as Rick said... what do you have?
  6. You said it Brian... Rick Pope is one of the nicest guys you'll find in the fly fishing industry. Fun to be around and will bend over backwards to make customers happy. Knowing Rick, he might have sent to a TFO reel to replace yours... Chad... Take a lesson from this, as I'm sure you have. TFO will treat you right... Brian... Have you cast the new Clouser series?
  7. Ozark Bonefish... it don't get no better'n that...
  8. A few newbies have been coming into the fly shop lately and I've sent them to Crane... Now... all of you clear out so I can fish... Looks like a good time, Chance... A few McClouds beats NO McClouds...
  9. Conway Bowman fly fishes for Mako out of San Diego.... From a kayak... He told me the story behind the picture above. This was a big Mako on the end of his line that took him out to sea...
  10. No biggie, Zach... didn't recognize you either. Yeah, next time do... By the way... "Rumor" has it that Michael sold the shop to Johnny Morris and it's going to be the "White River Fly Shop South"... Of course, I'm the one starting that rumor...
  11. I will be in Cotter, AR next Saturday from about 9am until after lunch to sign copies of my book. I hope to see you there! C'mon by and say hi and help me bug Steve Dally for a couple of hours... More book signings coming up. I'll keep you posted, or keep watching on my website www.terrybeeson.net

  21. Tom Mabe is the bomb... LOL... Click here... I'm using this on the next telemarketer...
  22. You didn't say if this piece of ground was yours, public land, or if you had permission to be on it... I'm guessing you did, but I would take this as a sign someone did not appreciate you being there turkey or deer hunting. One of the main reasons I will do my best NOT to park on a road to get to a hunting spot... if I belong there or not... I know some folks prone to do just what they did to you even though they have no business on the place I'm referring to in my case.
  23. What does the Flyrod Chronicles compare to? Is it a fast rod? I've not cast that one...
