I went to Pitt State in D II where they have a 16 team playoff. You still have to be good in regular season to make the playoffs and try to get a good seed, but one loss doesn't kill you, then it is a bunch of fun if you make it in. The conference championships are great but the bowl games are a joke. Cut out those stupid non-conference games against weak teams and add a playoff at the end. You can still fill those bowl games with teams that don't make the playoff, Then you have 15 college football games the last 4 weeks that actually mean something, time the playoffs however you want, with bowl games before the playoffs start.

The Chiefense steps up when it has to! If Smith can hit one more big pass a game we'll be tough to beat.

Trout season applies only at the trout parks, the trout rivers are always available to fish, if you dare!

It's been a fun series but the play has been horrible. Defensive errors, baserunning errors, lazy play on both sides. Doesn't seem to have the intensity of some of the series I remember in the past.

Oh, we do have softball, now the poster makes more sense. Our girls won districts but lost to Oran 3-0 in their first game. It is fun watching them play, they all work hard and the coach deserves tons of credit as we got a new coach 3 years ago and have won districts 3 years in a row (before that we stunk). Congrats to your sister, she must be doing a good job!

We don't have software teams in Ozark county, wish we did. Must be a north Missouri thing.:-)

My kids have been kayaking on their own since they were 7, they wear life jackets and as long as there aren't any strainers they pretty much just bouce off anything they encounter without much trouble. While not great for fishing by themselves, get a kid in their own kayak and they will want to go to the river everyday!

Exactly Dennis, but our luck will eventually run out and we will need more solid play from the offense. Still think we have a good year, hopefully win a playoff game, but I still think we lose at least 5 games and possibly six. Games left are Broncos twice, at Bills, at Redskins, Colts, at Raiders, Chargers twice. None of these are sure wins. We need to take care of business against the browns and then hope to go .500 in our last 8, that would put us at 12-4, one win above my prediction. Still a tough team to predict and I've been a Chiefs fan too long to overdose on the coolaid again. Hope they prove me wrong and get 12 or 13 wins, 13 could get us homefield depending on tiebreakers as long as we beat Denver once.

Didn't break the pattern but still won, might have helped Keenum keep a job for a while.

Moved the ball well but still can't finish, need to keep improving to beat the manning.

Looks like Mizzou catches another break as SC quarterback is unlikely to play this week. A win puts us 3 games up in the east all but guaranteeing a trip to the SEC Championship game, WOW!!!

darn right, if we can beat SC next week we will have a shot at bama', how fun is that? The East is pretty weak due to injury, Mizzou is doing what they have to, keep it up and it could be a special season!

Chiefs are not the broncos and while they could beat them at arrowhead the offense has to make big improvements to do so. They still give up some big plays and facing Manning holding them to 24 is about the best we can hope for. Don't see them close at mile high. Go Chiefs!

In the past the Chiefense has made these first time starters and backups look like John Elway, hope we can break that pattern this Sunday.
