  1. Smallie, I have the ride 115, blemish model from omtc. You will not be dissapointed!!!! I'm 6'6 310 and it is very very stable!!!!
  2. Nice!!
  3. Don't forget to look in the basspro outlet store before you buy one. Sometimes they have discontinued models in there with the prices lashed almost in half. They're up front in the glass case.
  4. X2. Would like a decal. Where is buds bait anyway?
  5. You slayed em!
  6. Hey man. I miss that dang kegerator more than my 5.0 mustang and my bass boat combined. I always had it full of 8 gallons of fresh boulevard or blue moon wheat beers. Need to build another one.
  7. Small. Lol. I sold my bass boat after my first kid was born. Along with my mustang and my kegerator. Hoping in a few years I can get back into something nice like a g3, polar craft, or blazer. Right now I'm fishing with this wilderness ride 115. Much cheaper to fish with, and you cant get a dwi on one. I keep the hull loaded with my tackle and poles, that way when the wife gets angry, I can literally shove the kayak into my truck and be gone in 30 seconds. Lol.
  8. I've still yet to catch a musky. You'd figure I crappie fish enough with minnows that I will get one eventually? Anyway, seen a nice one caught in camp once and let me tell you it tasted awesome!
  9. I picked up a ride 115 from them a couple months ago. Agreed. Helpful people in a very cool store. I didn't pay close enough attention to the natives while I was there. I got caught up looking at wilderness and Jackson. I really like how the natives have a tank well up front. I'd put my beer cooler in it and be perfectly balanced.
  10. Nice fish! Excellent picture. Kayak looks nicely rigged. What kind is it?
  11. He also has cold beer and a campground. Got minnows from him twice now. Not one died in the bucket or failed to catch a fish. Nice guy. Keeps his minnow tanks clean.
  12. West on 32. Turn left onto RA. The campground has been axed.
  13. Thanks for the report.
  14. Sounds like a great day. To post pics. Hit more reply options below. Choose the file. Upload the file. Then attach it to your reply. Enjoy your walleye fillets.
  15. I just picked up a wilderness ride 115 and I'm pretty happy with it. The Jackson's looked overpriced. But I overlooked the natives and I shouldn't have. I'm intrigued by their forward tank well. Which would be perfect for a live well. Heavy beer cooler, or camping gear. A guy like me 6'5 310ish pounds would benefit from having the extra weight up front. If I ever upgrade it will probably be to a native. Or some sort of kayak canoe crossover like that.
  16. Sweet! Great news. The lake sure does look low last I seen it.
  17. Very nice.
  18. I was the big guy in the green kayak. For the life of me I haven't been able to do well with whites down there. I'm gonna try again but gonna purchase some 4lb test and some swimming minnows. Wow that trail was rough on my truck. Looks like it's been rougher on others. Seen a bumper and some mirrors.
  19. 44 to 160. Turn at 123 after Willard. Go through walnut grove. Then through Eudora. Strait off the corner onto 50th. Turn right at 505th.
  20. Awesome pics. I can't wait to get out on the niangua with my new yak. I've never been lower than Barclay. Looks very nice.
  21. They are all bad with potholes but nothing you cant swerve around. The entrance to the launch under Taylor's bridge is a little washed out. Walking along the bank around Orleans bridge is much easier than around Taylor's. But there is a trail on the east side of the river and you can walk in between the two. I would fish the steel bridge(Orleans) first since it's closer to the lake.
  22. Dang weather just ain't helping things.
  23. It was early April when I stayed them last year. It's a lot of fun. When it gets late you start catching the occasional crappie, catfish, lm, walleye, I even caught a huge carp on a minnow. Frozen fingers there is a omtc kayak fishing tourney coming up at fellows weekend after this coming. I'm not competing but gonna go down there and see how everyone is rigging the transducers on their fish finders. It's on Facebook if your interested.
  24. I've been there twice with it in the past two weeks. Got married at that boathouse and the wife and kid love to walk the trails while I get a paddle in. I went from the boathouse to 65 and back on Sunday. Not far but it was windy. Can't wait to get back down to tailors bridge and go after some whites. I caught a very nice walleye below tailors bridge last year as well. Seemed like it was early or mid April.
