Thanks alot, guys. I'll check that. Fished up by the dam today - that little stretch between #1 and the cable (but not AT the outlet) - and netted 7 'bows on beadhead midges. All but 1 were in the slot and a couple of FAT females left eggs in my net. And then the horn blew.

Thanks for that. Are there any fish in Roark Creek? I live by Stockstill Park but I've never seen anyone fishing the creek.

Aloha all, new Taneycomo dude here. So far all I've fished has been the slot area up by the dam but I'd like to net a couple of frying pan worthy fishies. Are there any decent wade-able areas downriver? If so, since I don't know the area well yet, would you mind giving general directions? For example, I've seen Bull Creek mentioned but I don't even know where that is. Thanks for any info.

Yes, it's off. I was up at the dam a couple of hours ago. Haven't seen it like that in it seems like forever. Trout were rising/jumping like crazy.

I spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out which one I liked best... then realized I couldn't and it didn't matter. Very cool shots, Redbud.

Hi all- my 1st post. I would be really interested in attending one (Tue or Wed) of these classes. I moved to Branson from L.A. Aug '09 and have since picked up a fly rod and fly-tying kit for the 1st time in my life. Been fishing with spinning outfits since I was old enough to hold a pole but never ventured into the fly arena. I have discovered that I freakin' love it! Even though I now realize I need more help in all aspects of it than what I can find using Mr. Google. My question: Tools I have... are tying materials available at Lilley's for what I don't have for these classes? Thanks all; looking forward to it. Bill
