FWIW, you can 3D print Polycarbonite (Lexan). All you need is a scan from a laser scanner. So you could easily copy ANY lure on the market. Even without taking them apart (CT Scan). The future of stealing lure design continues to easier/more affordable every day. Kind of scary really. And of course, this doesn't just apply to the fishing world. Everyday a new material becomes available to 3D print....and at finer slice sizes. You now can print metal too, but at larger, less detailed slice thicknesses. But they now have the ability to print fine detail in plastic and add a metal coating that adheres to the plastic and keeps the very detailed shape.
We are just on the edge of game changing technology that will revolutionize manufacturing in all industries.
