I'm at Indian point right now, the rain was about 2 hours ago and only lasted 1/2 hour or so. Seemed to throw the fish off a tad. -

I was hoping you would tell that story! I know you've said before that with the reverse barb hooks the shoestring trick may not work. I've been thinking about that because I've got a lot of Megabass Vision 110 jerk baits. I think you could maybe pull the shank toward you ( the opposite of the regular shoestring trick) and it might work.... But I'm not going to try out the theory!

Yes, there are more saugers than walleyes, but you can get both in abundance below the chain of rocks bridge area or below Winfield dam.

Since you bought the waders already it's kind of a moot point, but the only advice I can offer is to make sure you don't order a "tall" size unless you have very long legs. I made the mistake and had way too much excess material between my waist and feet, and I looked like the Michelin man from the waist down. -

Gavin's right, sometimes the only path for a jet is in the channel. But, there is no way I would buzz within 10 yards of someone who wouldn't move. Both people need to be understanding.

Pulled into QT this morning to get fuel and noticed they were out of the high grade and mid grade gas! Only 87 percent octane. The cashier said we have a division wide shortage of high grade gas...... Haven't seen that in a while!

Even though I love rivers, I can't see myself living on a river due to the risk of flooding. Now I could live fairly close to a river for sure, but I want to be right on the water so I'm trying to figure out which Ozark area lake would be the best to build. So far I'm leaning towards Bull Shoals....What would be your favorite lake and why? ps. it's all just pie in the sky anyway cuz I doubt I could ever get my wife to move to a rural location!
