I am pretty sure last year the pick was Alabama vs.Oregon then Notre Dame and then K-State. I think everyone wants to see the Alabama/Oregon matchup, but any of those teams against FSU would be dynamite too. MU should handle TN...34-14. A scary stat... Berkstresser was the better passer last year than Mauk has been so far this year...yikes. Sounds like the coaches were very unhappy with some of Mauk's throws last week...maybe they do end up starting Franklin if they can. One concern I have is Hansborough and Josey are banged up a bit...we might only have Murphy running the ball. That could become an issue if Mauk start's and can't throw.

Congrats to you team Quillback....they deserved to win. I thought we had some chances to get to Lackey last night, but our offense disappeared. I was worried about playing in Fenway...tough place to win.

John jay and david freese are tough to watch take at bats....just brutal.

I too think 4 teams is about right. IMO by the end of the year you usually have a clear idea who is number 1. Numbers 2 and 3 are a bit more problematic....therefore the additional game against the "wild card" 4th team. After that is usually pretty easy to see a drop off. I doubt we end up more than 2-3 undefeated teams this year...even the teams that should win usually falter at some point.

The catch and release season starts on Friday November 8th. You wont' be able to fish the trout parks until that time, but you can fish any water out of the trout parks all year long. Meremac Springs you can fish all week long 8a-4pm. Bennett, Roaring River, and Montauk are Friday - Monday 8a-4p. All trout parks are closed until November 8th.

The thing about franklin is he doesn't play well if hurt...at least not last year...so I agree with OTF you only play him if you have to this week. I am kinda gonna miss the current format in a way....it makes every Game critical and it does contribute to the most exciting regular season in sports. A playoff is more fair, but if they add to many teams I wonder if it will take too much away from the regular season...

It is going to be really tough to win at Fenway. Wacha needs to shut them down early tomorrow or the game will get away in hurry, but there is no other guy I would rather have pitching. Anyone else wonder why they pinch hit John Jay for Shane Robinson in the 9th? Robinson has been the better player in the playoffs and hit the ball hard a couple times.

I hope he can play if he is healthy. My guess is they start with Mauk, and if the game is getting dicey they put in Franklin. TN is not to be taken lightly, but we should be able to win. Gotta win the next two and use the bye week to get everyone healthy for Ole Miss. It would help if GA beats Florida as that could potentially create a 3 way tie. MU is in good shape in a 3 way tie scenario, but not in a two way tie with SC. Kinda weird how it could shake out.

Anyone else think baggert was gouing to miss? You just new at some point it was going to happen. The way they lost was terrible..not so much they lost. My worry is they don't regroup. As much as this stings this what makes college football so great...you just never now.

I don't have much confidence in Lynn either...One inning always does him in. I think Miller can give you what Lynn does...and Miller is part of your future. Let the lad get some experience.

That was brutal...almost predictable. Kozma has made too many errors in big games dating back to last year...not sure there is a better alternative though. It doesn't help he is terrible at the plate.

IF (and it is a big if, but possible) MU runs the table they will be in the national title game. It matters not what happens elsewhere. No team that goes undefeated in the SEC would not go to the national game...even in a perceived down year. FSU/Oregon would get the other spot. No way ohio state or Baylor would make it if three other teams are undefeated. Baylor has played nobody...their best victory is a kstate team they stuggled with. They might be good, but the toughest part of their schedule is ahead of them. We will see if they continue to be as impressive.

Good luck to your team...I always liked the red sox except for the 2004 beat down they put down on the cards. Should be a great series with two best teams from each league...as it should be.

Absolute domination by MU. Only negative was kicking 5 field goals, but bagget could use the practice! Sam is incredible! Super excited about this team with a 2 game lead in the east.

You new that game was trouble when we had bases loaded and nobody out in the first and we couldn't score. Molina did not have a good game. I still like our chances, but I have a feeling game 6 will be another close game. Go Cards!
