  1. Pictures of every member of congress and a bucket full of darts.
  2. The Dodger may have the names, but the Cardinals pitching has been outstanding. Lynn makes me nervous, but our bullpen especially has been unhittable. The Cardinal are absolutely stacked with great pitching the next several years. Probably won't be much offense again tonight, but it would be nice to get the win and get the guys some rest. I think we get to Greinke tonight. Adam's gets a hold of one tonight. That Holliday shot was absolutely crushed!
  3. Talk about the US bailing out mexico...actually feel kinda bad for panama...giving up 2 in stoppage time has to be heartbreaking for them. Now mexico has a chance, but boy they look bad right now. Go USA.
  4. Montauk can be tough at times and IMO I don't think trout park fish are as easy to catch as people make them to out to be. Try fishing a weekend, in low water, with 100's of people fishing too...those fish just stop eating. It is some of the toughing fishing you can find. IF you can find the right fly though...it can be a game changer...
  5. What would the over on the A@M game be? 90? That game might be an epic shoot out. It just goes to show you how much a college Quarterback can dominate a game or season. I always wonder why defenses are so far behind the offense.
  6. I love parking at the dam and making the walk up to the spring and then fish my way back down. Always lot's of fish to play with and super fun during catch and release
  7. I am by no means throwing in the towel for this season with Franklin out for the next month. Mauk has the tools, but lacking the experience. He might actually be a better runner than Franklin is. Pinkel plans to change nothing on offense...so they have some confidence in Mauk. However, that throw to DGB was waaaay under thrown...nice job of DGB to make the adjustment. I don't think we would have put up a ton of points against Florida with Franklin in anyway. Their defense is that good. IMO this game comes down to our defense. GA ran through us in the 3rd quarter before they were forced to throw again in the fourth and we didn't adjust well in the 3rd quarter. If we don't score on the halfback toss, followed by an Aaron Murray interception...I think GA continues to run at us and we have a different outcome. If we can stop Florida from running the ball...we win an ugly one. Mauk will need to make some plays with his legs and DGB needs to step up a bit.
  8. Yeah looks like franklin injury will keep him out the rest of the year if reports are accurate.
  9. Mizzou could win this game, but winning on the road is hard. Georgia has some extra motivation since the "experts" like Missouri this week. I could see this game going in any direction, but will take Georgia 45-31. Let's hope Mizzou can prove us wrong.
  10. Great game by waino last night. Can't wait to see Adams over a full season
  11. I want to be there. Great painting.
  12. The future for the Cardinal is very bright. I think they will be better next year and for the next several years. Just look at the choices they have for starting pitching next year. Waino Wacha Miller Martinez Kelly Siegrist (Bullpen most likely) Lynn Garcia Lyons Gast They also have some very interesting decisions to make regarding position players. First David Freese will not be resigned IMO and Beltran is a tough call. He has been very good, but he is getting older and keeping him essentially blocks Taveres and Wong from getting a shot. It also makes it difficult to play both Adams and Craig at the same time. I am really torn on Beltran, but I think the Cardinals let him walk.
  13. Yeah 7-5 would be a disappointment at this point. Not sure what channel it was on in your area, but the charter game was not inHD for those in St. Louis. It was a hot mess locally, and yes it looked cheapo.
  14. I agree...well said. And Norm didn't inherit the mess Pinkel did. For all those that rip his recruiting and his coaching if this team finishes strong then a lot of people are wrong. You don't win with bad recruiting and bad coaching. You have to be good at one. If we win with all this inferior talent then just maybe it is (gulp) at testament to the coaching? Or was it just all luck. The problem with the Georgia game is MU wins and it was because GA was hurt, MU losses and it is because MU sucks. MU wins the East and it was a down year etc. It is a no win. No one felt sorry for MU last year when the season was derailed by injuries. There were a punching bag among fans and media. It seems this year our own fans are already making excuses for Georgia etc. It is a complex. I am cautiously optimistic about the rest of the year. I don't think there is one game they absolutely can't win, but I am not sure they are contender for the East either. We will find out the next 3 games, and I am pretty excited about it.
  15. They are beating teams they are supossed to beat and look to have a chance against the top teams in the division. I am not sure what more you could ask for at this point. It seems silly to nitpick. 8-4 seems like the worst they could do at this point.
  16. AL...I had to buy ESPN gameplan and I am in St.louis ar e a....don't even get me started on charter cable and jerk move they pulled this week. MU looked good and Georgia looks beatable. Florida looks better with driskal out.
  17. That kinda looks like Keith from the deadliest catch.
  18. I agree the years of terrible MU teams really hurt the program and in some ways defines it...it does take a lot of winning to "forget". It took two world series for the red sox to move on and the cubs seem eternally cursed. MU still has a ways t o go, but in some ways the turn around has been remarkable. Pinkel is the reason for it..just not sure if he can take it to the next level. Just saw the lane kiffin news...he couldn't win with all that talent at USC. Wonder if he gets another shot anytime soon.
  19. I agree There are not many good defenses this year it seems. Bama looked decent yesterday. Oregon could finally finish it off this year. That offense is phenomenal
  20. I kind of laugh when sealing off the borders of missouri becomes a topic. If we sealed of the borders we would suck. Sure there a few guys ever now and then, but mizzou is forced to compete against the marque schools in there backyard. It is a fact of life.
  21. Couldn't agree more.
  22. All college kids are drunks. I understand your frustration with MU football, but lets not drive of the cliff because a 22 point win wasn't crisp enough. we are 4-0 for the first time in along time...I will take that. Georgia is the only team that I think is a gauranteed loss. I think we go 4-4 the rest of the way.
  23. Mizzou pulls away when they needed too. They looked flat, but the season starts next week. I wouldn't worry about this game too much. Mizzou was very vanilla on offense and defense. We will find out how they stack up starting next sat.

    Rams Stink

they just got manhandled the last two games. I don't think anyone expected them to be a playoff team, but that was embarassing. I will take vermail and warner back. I agree about bradford, but he had no time last night. We have no running back at all. Thankfully college football is on all day tomorrow...maybe the rams should play on saturdays instead. Rant over...I feel better.
