crooked creek is still sort of high but fishable. Tomorrow flytyer57 and I are floating from snow to the slab.

Don and I went fishing in the riverboat this afternoon from 4pm-8:30 around crooked creek. I caught this fish within 5 minutes of starting fishing: That fish was a solid 3lb. We went across the river and I caught this one which was 5lb: Both were caught on crawfish pattern wiggle warts. We went across the river again and I caught a small smallie and another largemouth. Then Don boated his first fish(I was getting worried at this point, it had been 2.5 hours) We fished there a little more then went in crooked creek and he caught a real nice spotted bass on a rapala reddish shad rap: We each caught a few more small fish then I caught this nice smallie on a PB&J jig and craw: Had a great time, even driving WOT through the fog up from Crooked creek to rim shoals. The look on his face was priceless when I said I haven't been up that way before

I think it is a great idea. Capitalism in action. If you can get a dollar a pound for them and have open seasons they will get eradicated quickly. I would try them out, the meat looks just like the meat from tilapia.

spring river is definetly a place you rent a canoe, not take your own it appears. That is a nice kini but I really like whats inside it better

One day while fishing at the juncture of a creek that shall remain nameless and the white river there was a spot with quite a few large largemouth bass. I could not get them to bite anything. Any tips or techniques?

No rivers are running clear with all the rain. The white will be the only clear spot, and only then above crooked creek. Norfork will be clear too.

Your barking up the right tree! I have floated Hammond camp to Blair and Blair to James bridge. Both are good floats but need to be done during the week. I want to float Jerry corps. Lane to Tecumseh on Bryant creek.

I agree totally. I am still a youngin' at 28 but I believe women are the most beautiful with no makeup or anything....that being said I can look at "hardbodies" all day long without getting tired.

Whenever you wanna go we can. Maybe next monday. either take my canoe or take the pontoons. I think a OAF two day crooked creek float would be sweet.

I am not defending rap music, but metal people have been trashing venues for DECADES. Besides, the type of people who are gonna come to branson aren't going to be the venue trashing people. It will be teenage white kids trying to get over their white person guilt. I suffer from no such affliction.
