    I feel the pain. I havent been since the flood started a few weeks ago. I am going to **try** to hit the bass pond by the house and this weekend I am going to fish piney creek.

    yes. There are a few places with pretty good drops(at least to me).

    The coating allows the boat to slide over rocks better and keep leaky rivets from leaking

    I pull my riverboat with my wife's 1.9 TDI beetle. it pulls it fine.

    We had a guy in the shop that is a driller for some company(dont remember which) who said his company used salt water and sand, no chemicals of any sort. If that is the case, why cant every company do that?

    Maybe, there is a small creek near the ramp. right now its a mud bath

    the white river drains a huge area. I dont know if there was anything the corps could do. Table Rock filled in three days when it was built. When it rains here, it really does pour.

    With a 4wd you can launch anywhere. You can launch off the entry road with a car at boggy point. You should be able to launch at quarry.

    I knew that would happen. With just two units going the little park gets close to being flooded.

    The US government is in the business of controlling things. They will not give up control unless they are forced. If they can't get the people of Cairo to figure out things and leave their flood-prone homes then what? FORCE them to leave? I don't like that either but it would not be the first time the government has done it. You definetly are not the person to drag government budget cutting into this discussion.

    Oddly enough I agree completely. If they refuse help then let them lay in their bed. Blow the levee. The farmers will make more money off of ruined crops anyway
