    I saw some springboard diving while eating chinese food in west plains last night. Thats all of the Olympics I have seen so far.

    in AR getting a title for a boat trailer is easy as heck. Just go to the revenue office and tell them you have a homemade trailer and need tags for it.

    Hospitals will let you make payments(they actually are forced to) so your first argument is moot. The big evil "for-profits" people PROVE that they can do a job far better than the government. Need I point out that UPS is a highly profitable company while the postal service sinks further into the red? How about Social Security? Idle curiosity here, but who will pay for the non payers who cannot afford health insurance(the whole reason for the bill)?

    that is me. Right now I am gambling(for lack of a better word) that I won't have a horrific accident. The costs outweigh the benefits. If I get sick/hurt my wife will pay my bills and I will sell all my toys. I would not and do not expect/hope the government to do pay.

    In a perfect world nationalized healthcare would be perfect. However we do not live in a perfect world. We live in a world where some people want to steal from everyone else. When I say steal, I mean people who live on welfare, and generally abuse our system. So many people who CAN work refuse to do so because the government will take care of them.

    The level of care we receive in the US is unparalleled, but the system is still broke. Too many frivolous lawsuits paired with people abusing the system have made costs skyrocket. I dont have insurance by choice, and I firmly believe that I should not be FORCED to buy it. Term limits would be awesome, but you will never see a politician vote to take away their power.

    rising healthcare costs are caused by lawsuits and people who refuse to pay their bill, not people who can't pay. Already people with no insurance just walk into ER's and use them like doctors offices because they know they do not have to pay. Where in the 1000+ page bill does it say this will change? I can just pay the TAX and not worry with it. I say tax because the IRS is making sure we pay it.

    FWIW, you have to have car insurance for the OTHER guy, not you. Your required to have insurance in case you hit someone else. Also, the little I have dealt with insurance(working at Eaton, and my wife's employer), both have open enrollments that allow people with pre-existing conditions. Ask a British person how they like their health care system. I won't even mention Cuba. With the new "system" I can just pay the tax and go to the ER and not spend a penny. Who is going to pay for that?

    Yesterday in the horse trader there was a auction listing for 46 acres on the east side of the 142 bridge that borders the river. I would love to own it...but if I did I wouldn't be able to work anymore
