Terry Beeson Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I'm going to save mine for a rainy day... So it won't last long... Greg Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 We got ours last week. However we won't be buying anything fun or exciting. We need a new roof due to the recent ice and hail storms. Insurance is paying about 3/4 of the bill but that still leaves us with a hefty amount $$$ to fork out. Brian Sloss Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I know a large portion of anything a lot of folks get will go to pay the huge gas bills at the pump. The one industry that does not need to be stimulated. I'd rather buy something fun, but gas will be the big winner. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
Members 883 Posted May 11, 2008 Members Posted May 11, 2008 Not too make matters worse; you have to pay taxes on that money, it will be considered income on next year’s tax. We had to file for an extension because we moved around so much last year. So there’s no money for me.
