Talked to some friends of mine by cell phone in Neosho and Seneca and said it was pretty bad. Their electricity is out and lots of damage between Neosho and Seneca and also extensive damage just north of Seneca toward the Reddings Mill area. Said they have confirmed four deaths at this time.

As of 10:00 last night they had it up to 14 deaths in our area. Was pretty rough up here in the Joplin area. We had a mix of nickle to golf ball hail and 5 miles away at my daughters house they had baseball size hail. Have not heard the official size of the tornadoes but they were big ones. Lots of cars got caught in it on Hwy 43 5 miles south of I44. Flipped them over and hurled some in fields.

Seen the pics on foxnews... Pitcher looks like Greensburg, Ks. A friend of mine who lives north of Neosho said he heard a twister north of his house.

We didn't get anything. The wind blew harder last night than during the storm.

We lucked out over here, purdy got hit hard and there was a small area north of Cassville and just south of butterfield that had some damage. Here at the park we didn't get hardly anything, some wind and a little rain, but everything over this way is still fine. Hope everybody else is ok, it was a terrible thing about the damage and the death in purdy, didn't know of any other deaths, hope there weren't any. We are praying for everybody and hope things work out for all that were effected.

Got caught in that front on I-540 in Bentonville last evening with my 70 yo mother in the car with me. Had to pull over in a road cut right where 540 drops into Bella Vista. High winds, zero visibility, hail, rain, with limbs and leaves flying through the air, the craziness lasted for a few minutes then it was gone. Fortunately a twister did not develop.

There were several deaths in Picher as well as the Seneca MO area. We live about 7 miles from where this happened and my wife and I were outside watching the sky just prior to the sounding of the warning sirens. You could tell something was going to happen, by the way the clouds looked. Strangest thing I had ever seen. Prayers go out to those that were involved with this deadly storm.

I live in Neosho and the tornado struck about 5 miles from my house. I think they are classifying it as a F4. Bad deal that's for sure. The communities of Granby and Newtonia got hit hard just as well. Prayers out for all. I knew some people that were in the path and I hope they are all ok. It was definetly a big surprise. You could tell something was going to happen, but you just didn't know where for sure.
