timsfly Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 It was fast thismorning, but not that easy, I fished the middle section above town this morning, only landed 4 trout, nothing very big, I did see a trout(following my bugger) that might have gone 16" + but he turned off at the last moment, and didn't see him again. I caught most of my fish this morning on a # 10 very bushy hares ear, 3 on that fly and the last one on a red san juan worm. I had a 5/32 tungsten bead on the hares ear, just to get it down in the deeper part of the runs(this is where the fish seemed to be today) and on the san jua worm I had it tied on a 1/64 oz. jig head. The creek is in good shape, everything I caught looked healthy, all the trout I caught today were 10" and smaller. Water is running very clear, it is up a bit but not to bad, take a few extra sinkers with you. I couldn't get a fish to come up today, but I'll bet they would this afternoon, but I have stuff to do this afternoon, so I'll let someone else play with them this fine afternoon, this is great weather we are having. Harps Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Permission is for other websites that want to repint the image... it's 100% alright for anyone to print it and use it. Speaking of permission, that's my photo on the map! No biggie, I'm cool with it.
patfish Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Nice Harps! You mean this one?!?! I just knew that looked familiar! BTW, I didn't give up the pic - I swear! No, seriously, I didn't. After all, you posted it here for the stealing. You should be honored...
