Trav Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Hey Corey, Do you know where he moved to? Maybe we can burn a cross in his front yard after we throw a brick in his window, carrying a note that says "we dont like your kind", then we can hang his canoe from the highest tree on his property, after we drag it behind a pickup for 10 miles. Do you think he will listen to that? Haha "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
TroutRinger Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Its been over two days and this still ticks me off...I'm going down there Wednesday or Thursday and I'm bringin a camera and cell phone. I hope he is dumb enough to still be there. "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." "There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."
twosets Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Next, Phil will evaluate the Zapruder film and the photos of the grassy knoll. Good job, hate to see those smallies leave the stream. "This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."
Bman Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 Yes Phil, That was quite a piece of work. I regret not getting better and more complete pics of that stringer, it would have been even more revealing. I was standing there in utter disbelief of what I was witnessing. After he went a little ways downstream and butchered that stringer, I could have walked up on him and took pics as well, but I figured that may not be a good idea. My temper gets bad in such conditions. I will be looking for this dude in the future, with camera and phone ready. The only good line is a tight line
Trav Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Like said earlier Bman, I would have opened my big mouth. At least then his relaxing day would have been interupted. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Bman Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 Good point Trav. The only good line is a tight line
Trav Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Big M does mean Big Mouth! Haha And everyone here can tell you that I am not afraid to use it! "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Bman Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 Just to update everyone on this issue, I have been contacted by a MDC agent. He has informed me that there are several agents working on this case! Of course they can't be everywhere, but it is very encouraging to recieve the interest and responce that is happening with this violation that I saw. Many thanks agents of the MDC. If any of you wittness a violation...The best way to report a wildlife violation is to report it to the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-800-392-1111 or call the local sheriff's department. tight lines all, Bruce The only good line is a tight line
Trav Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Thanks Bman! Im interested in knowing if this guy gets in any trouble! "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Bman Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008 Me too, I will keep you all informed. They are hot on the trail. I have told the agent that I am willing to sign a statement. I was looking forward to taking my kids, and grandkids fishing for smallmouth, and trout right where this deadbeat made his killing. It took years to produce some of those smallies. He robbed all of us. The only good line is a tight line
