Ill be on private land in St. Peters.. Columbia Bottoms was flooded pretty good this year, so you may want to give it a look before the 8th to see what its like this year..

Thats what I will miss bout living in Kansas when I move there. SO much land to hunt on and so many birds. I can shoot pheasants and all the doves I want two miles from town. So will be diff. But we dont have the fishing and guess I replace one with the other.

My son is starting a self guided hunting service for Kansas hunts. I will get the web page for those of you interested. I would be willing to set up two ppl for whitetail deer hunt on private land too. Its expensive as the landowners know what its worth but there are huge deer in there too.

EKL, they spelled that out in my letter from Columbia Bottoms. I'll probably still go up and give it a try. If they get it graded like they wanted to, there could be alot of birds. They flock into newly graded areas out here in St. Chas. I wish I could hunt the areas they are getting ready for the Page Ext. Good luck.
