Well the debate is on and it has been interesting. I did not see the one Friday or have even heard how it went. Nice thing about being away from the media, you can relax and forget your troubles. Interesting tonight, questions have stirred them both up. I think Palin is commanding the debate well. Any thoughts?

She is well coached, but funny when she speaks with her own tongue. She is doing well against a seasoned politician.

I must have seen a different debate. Everything I watched Palin speak I kept waiting for her to address the questions she was asked, but she just seemed to start rambling and then go off in to lala land. This is the first time I have heard about Biden and he seemed to skip the rambling and go straight to the punch line for all of his answers. Palin just left me scratching my head after she finished her answers. Another thing that scares me is that it doesn't sound like McCain has anything any different from what Bush has already proposed....and look at where we are now with national debt higher than ever and everything going to heck with the country.

If Obama wins the election, which I think he will, then I pray that he doesn't turn this country into an even bigger mess. I really can't say I would trust McCain or Obama to run the country the right way. It's scary!!!

Didn't Sarah look so sexy when she was talking about how she was from outside Washington? :D

Is it me? But she seems the type to have the best bedside conversations. Yummy. :P

She did say alot more than was necessary on some of the questions, but you have to remember, she has only been a politician for a short time and she is not a lawyer. Biden has been in politics since the 70's and has been saying the same old thing for a long time. Funny how the Dems always want to blame Bush and the current administration, yet they have been in control of Congress since 06 and have not made any headway. Bush is not running in this election, so nobody needs to worry about defeating him.

Palin was plain spoken, full of energy and heart, and came across as an actual representation of the average person.

I though Sarah held her own considering the moderator is pro Obama and Biden is a career politican. I would call the debate a draw.

this whole macain=bush is a bunch of malarky that the Obama camp has created..... its made up to scare you into thinking Obama can actually change the world. he is no messiah, and i dont worship false idols like the media wants me too. Obama cant even vote against his own party to do what is right, and the actuallity that his change will be implemented would be like the titanic rising the bottom to sail again.

No leader will ever be perfect so dont imply they can be, a lesson for the media. A spend happy radical isnt what this economy needs. Dont think he is some saint sent down from the heavens to bring peace to the world and end global warming... The company he keeps tells enough...

Food for thought, once elected his wife's employer got a special earmark by chairmain Obama, then suddenly his wife's salary doubled...

Im saying this whole crap about macain=bush is a fallacy created by a scaremonger.

lest they forget, that clinton's policies about mortgages started this whole mess. And a congress controled by Democrats for the past two years hasnt fixed a dang thing. And the )bama camp always talking about bush and never really talking about thier own plans leads me to believe they havent a plan.

IMHO the next presidency will only be a one-term presidency. Hillary will go after it again and show why the dems screwed up with their false idolitry god Obama. You cant have a flourishing economy with a marxist as president, and frankly Obama doesnt have enough experience to lead a group out of the lincoln tunnel.

im just hoping for the bradley effect come november....

I watched and she did well. Esp against a 35 year Wahingtonite. I heard the same crap from Biden I hear on Ed Shultz, Maddow and loud mouthed lying Randi Rhoades, they have a plan alright but its not going to work to many holes.

As for pulling out of Iraq there is a plan and its in the process, you just cannot announce it to the world esp with the enemy listening and watching....

The BLAME has to FALL Directly on the Dems. their hands are deep into the pockets of Fannie and Freedie. Contorl as mentioned since 06 and the lowest rating of any Congress or Senate.

Then you have Obama, look at his record voting present, almost 100 times, thats piss poor, he is afraid to make a choice unless its going to benefit him he does not vote. He wants to spend another trillion $$$ Hell I aint sure how many zeros are in that but its far more than we need to spend, I also dont agree with the bailout I think its time to start over.

Jr Senator, with no experience wants to be President??? Words just words? My bet is their will be riots if he looses and even if he wins.

You want to really see the history look at Michigan and Chicago, is that the corupt machine you want in charge? Do you really think we can afford that?

Palin even in the Couric interview was plain spoken and sure her answers were short. I understand them I dont need a 5 minute desertation in legaleaz terms to tell me what is happening.

For being plain spoken and not a LAWYER the Left has hammered her. I am sure if Palin spoke the mouthfull of legal type crap the media would be behind her.

She is a common person and if its change you really want its time to put a common person in the VP position then vote for McCain Palin.

If its more governement control and bigger government with more lawyers telling you want to do then vote for the same old crap straight from Washington in Obama Biden.

Every member of Congress and the Senate needs to be removed they have done this to us and we all know they trade fricken votes back and forth.

The only thing a vp can do is screw it up. Neither did that. Now it is up to McCain to beat the ACORN community activist himself. Problem is people are desperate to grab on to anything similar to Germany in the 30's. We received a flyer from Obama in the mail yesterday and all it said (in big words for the elderly) is he will fix almost everything with no specific plan at all. Very scary.
