Main Lake: The area of the lake or casting direction that should be fished by someone who has mastered the 2nd cut. Brimmage: Assorted micro panfishes that are caught by flies/lures that are as long as or longer than them. Suckerage: Assorted stream/river fishes that fight more when removed from the water than while in the water. Sleeper: The fish that accidentally hooks itself while your not paying attention. Launch: As in "I sat my new Loomis rod down on the deck of the boat and watched it launch into the lake ... never to be seen again". Dunk Tank: Reference to the hole above the dam at BSSP Bill Dance: Any of the Fat Free Shad crankbait series PC Cheers. PC

DD'sMC Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I am loving this thread!!!! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
Terry Beeson Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Wonder why twosets hasn't contributed anything else to this thread? Horn = An excuse to go to the restroom, warm up, drink beer, and shoot the bull in the parking lot. Seahorses = One method used by Taney fishermen to warm up (see also "Coffee creamer" and "Don's Stuffed Jalapenos.") Buzzard = Anyone who sits at the top of the steps for a long period of time staring at the snag... uh... fishermen at outlet 2. Gnats = Kids who are allowed to play on the steps blocking the way for fishermen to get in or out of the area.
