fishinwrench
Awesome Brown ! I'm studying the lay of the land...what I can see of it. Is that ABOVE the Falls....or below at Soap and Tallow ? If he ran him clear through Jacks that was an amazing fight. Congratulations !
Don
Awesome! Any fish taken on NFOW is an accomplishment to me. A good drag system on that Litespeed surely contributed to the catch but not without an anglers skill of course. Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass. Members thargroveflyfishing
Hey Lilley, Thanks for putting up the pictures. That fish was incredible. I've been fishing that river religiously for ten years and have hooked a couple comparable to that one, but that topped my previous big fish by 4 inches from that river. The fish never made a smoking run, but did give me all I had on a 7wt with 2x. I can only hope to get another one like that.
Snow Fly
Gee Chris don't be so stingy with wanting all the BIG fish, you still have a lot of years left, leave some for us OLDER guys Chris hooked up with the fish right up against the limestone rock ledge at the Falls and I would estimate brought to net about 120-130 yards +/-. and don't tell Chris but he does have a lot of angling skills, good teacher on reading the waters and skilled on the oars of a drift boat..........OK Chris send me the twenty $ for the advertisement "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"

DD'sMC
I just got this emailed to me to post- very beautiful brown trout. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! GREAT JOB! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
