fishinwrench Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 pull up a chair, its about to start.... huh...what? LOL
mclothier1 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Well, all the things you mention, im good to go. I work for an aircraft manufacturer so Im aware of a lot of the things you are talking about. Especially because in a plane you cant just pull over and replace a fuse. In my boat, all three batteries are secured and strapped, no obvious leaks from anything, wires all tied up and insulated, nothing loose that can bounce around and cause problems. I also carry two fire extinguishers. Probably after the end of this boating season I will install new carpeting, When I strip it out I will see if I can get access to the tank, it seems to have a outline on the floor where it was covered over the last time carpet was installed. In the meantime I will re-check the fuel line to the engine and filter. Thanks for the tips!
Members bojack Posted May 27, 2009 Members Posted May 27, 2009 osage bluff marina, on truman lake, advertise that their gas is ethanol free.
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I suppose we should ignore all the additives added in various ares to "Clean" the fuel. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
