tippet7 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 You know I-44 is a major corridor for drug traffic. Maybe something fell off a truck and got into their drinking water. Because those people have got to be HIGH to think someone is going to pay $120 to pitch a tent for a 4 person family, god help you if the Waltons ever decided to spend the night there. The front page is very difficult to read with the black on green lettering. They do not even have an email address. This has got to be some sort of joke. You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Buzz Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the pricing was over the top. I couldn't believe the camping and all of the overnight prices didn't even include fishing. Iv'e got better places to throw my money too. I think I will hit the lower part of the creek after the next big flood though. Buzz If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I think everyone overloked the fine print. It says you get access to the hiking and bike trail with any stay. Now that's a deal!! SIO3
fishinwrench Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Obviously priced to keep out the Rif-Raf.......of which catagory I myself fall in.
McManus Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Unbelievable! Where's the private landing strip? "Many go fishing all their lives without knowing it is not fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau

That would be an expensive rate for a cabin rental. I wish them good luck, but I won't be going. If you want stockies, a trout park is 3 dollars to fish, and ten dollars to camp. That will be my plan until my pockets get a whole lot deeper. In my opinion this is a place solely for rich city folks that can't tell a trout from a catfish.
