Tom Spence Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 You will probably get quite a few offers for the handsome firefighter.....my sister was wondering about a telephone number. Techo the fireman is taken. However if your sister is available...... Disclaimer: Techo and I have been friends for 5+ years so it is understood we may joke about our sisters, mothers, dads, dogs, etc. Please, no complaints. focused fishing Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 You will probably get quite a few offers for the handsome firefighter.....my sister was wondering about a telephone number. I've got his brother's number, he booked the trip, but tell your sister not to get her hopes up Rick was talking about buying a ring.... But the bigger question is: Does that report give enough information? I'm still not sure, I guess I could give a minute by minute account of every guide trip, that would only take up several additional hours of my free time between trips and other job...about eight hours to write the details of a four hour guide trip...... let me see.... I've been getting about 4.5 hours a sleep a night, if I change that to 2.5 and spend two hours every night writing a report that I'm not being compensated for...... yea, that might just work........ I mean really what's more important sleep or making sure that I give out every detail of how every fish was caught on a given day...... Oh boy Bill, you thought you were getting complaints before....... hope you've got plenty of space in your message box.... Ealy Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 What side of the boat were you fishing off of? Were the brothers right or left handed? Any bathroom breaks? What'd they have for breakfast?

motoman Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 The thought of people PM'ing or e-mailing guides and complaining about info they post, makes my head want to EXPLODE! - Heck, if these people were any sort of anglers, or truly wanted to become better anglers,; they would realize that patterns can change from one hour to the next. That's fishing, deal with it! Part of the fun to me is trying to figure out the puzzle............(sigh)...............and catching fish on a pattern I worked at; is that much sweeter! But, I guess I'm a little old fashioned that way.

ozark trout fisher Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I just want to take this opportunity to say that every time I fail to catch fish, I blame this forum 100%. All your fault  Seriously, the idea of someone complaining to a forum moderator because they didn't like a fishing report is just plain silly. If you must pm somebody, pm the person you have a problem with in the first place. Get a life. The fact is, this is already the best site for information on all things fishing in the Ozark region, let alone the Tri-lakes area. It's good enough as is, but any rule changes that might make it better are fine by me.
Members waterdogg Posted July 14, 2009 Members Posted July 14, 2009 I have been fishing the rock for 11 yrs. with a hit and miss success rate, the last two yrs have been much better due to the fact that i found this website. I could always find the fish, catching them was another matter. The marina folks always told the same story no matter the time of the year. Anyone with some fishing ability should be able to use FREE info here and catch some fish. I am amazed that each year no matter the season, i always see some bank beaters complaining that the rock is overrated. Adapt to the lake and conditions. Much thx to the good folks who provide info on this website. No complaints only thanks.
SRV1990 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I haven't been on in a while and get on today to find this. I find this thread encouraging, confusing, frustrating and very funny (EP, your posts especially have been hilarious!). Bottom line, though, is I agree with most of the other posts in that it's utterly ridiculous folks would complain about free fishing information. I've only been fishing TRL for about 5 years and have never hired a guide (primarily for financial reasons), so I've learned a lot of what I know from this forum. Shame on all of you for helping out a complete stranger, with nothing in it for you. Thanks to everyone who posts informaton on here, whether they be guides or regular joe's like me.
