I agree, although my wife lets me go fishing whenever I feel the need to go. Never gripes or complains except when I get her up at 4 in the morning to go with me. Shes a keeper!

My better half is the same way. She is going to be my partner in AIA next year. She loves to fish and has never said no. Someone sent me the song. I guess I should have posted down in the forwards thing though, sorry about that. I just like our little forum here best!

That's funny techo. If that gal had more than 4 functioning brain cells, she'd be out on the water, enjoying the quality time they would spend together! :P

Hats off to your better half. My wife likes to get on the water with me and enjoy the tranquility, but not fishing......................weird!

I actually lived through this a few years ago. Had her blessing to go fishin one evening, came home to a locked house ,would not let me in. Turned around and went right back to the lake . When i got home later that day the house was trashed her stuff was gone. Glad I had all my tackle with me. Come to think of it my dog never liked her anyway. My wife doesnt fish but she understands even encourages me to go when Im a little stressed or grumpy.I hope she never changes, lord knows i will always fish .Always have always will

My better half of almost 39 years helps me get ready and ensures that I have lunch and plenty of water when I go fishing.

She helps me pack and get ready for longer fishing trips and tournaments.

She tells me that it makes her happy when I go fishing.

When I was not retired and still working, she said that it made her happy when I went to work.

She loves me so much that I am convinced that ANYTHING that gets me out of the house makes her happy.
