Harping on a fisherman for spelling wrong darn !!! This was uncalled for. He didn't call you any names. I am understanding of your frustration as I don't spell check my poor spelling, but no need to call a member anything like this. You should apologize IMO.

This is Ozark Anglers....where we live by the rules of Bambi's Daddy. You can't call a fishin' buddy a douchebag here. You'll hurt his feelings, he'll get upset and threaten to leave forever. I'll bet you get a good scolding for that one.

Fishinwrench: I know where you were going...but..I hardly think these two guys are fishin' buddies by the tone of the exchange. He could have made his point with regressing to "douch bag." Believe me Thom and I have disagreed on many topics in the past, but we always treated eachother like gentlemen and once you call someone a douch bag where does it become unacceptable? Besides I don't want to read posts from guys just lobbing names at eachother. BORING.

eric1978 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Sea Ray crash So this guy crashed his boat into a point about a mile from Hurricane Deck. Jumped a 2ft tall sea wall, and crushed his boat to hell and back. The boat was worth over a million bucks. I love this sooo much What makes this story even more funny is that the same guy crashed his Hellicoptar into the lake last summer!!! I hope no one was hurt, but it does make me smile when I hear about things like this happening to stupid rich people. Maybe he should take his insurance pay-off and buy himself a huge chunk of land with a huge private lake so he can crash his new huge stupid boat into his own stupid property. I walked around on one of those 52 foot Sea Rays at the boat show a couple years ago, and they wanted 1.3 million for it. While it was pretty awesome, it's really just a status symbol. I think Mommy and Daddy probably paid him no attention but left him a boatload of money (corny pun intended). Now he wants to prove how cool he is. Guess he showed us.

Are you kiddin'me ? Considering most of the "exchanges" made between me and the guys I usually fish with, "douchebag" is extremely mild. Matteroffact... it's probably the closest thing to a term of endearment that you'll ever hear out of any of us.
