I'm not that organized....I have a tackle bag that sits in an egg crate and its chock full of stuff. Plus another box devoted to hard minnow baits. The minnow baits do double duty for trout, so they travel separately.

Tacklebag..

Top zippered pocket....mostly flukes and B-2 buzzers...extra spool...

Side pocket #1..mostly tubes and curly tail grubs...

Side Pocket Number #2..mostly finesse worms, and chomper hula grubs.

4-Plastic containers inside....

Misc Plastic box. Not used much......but there are some senko's in there...some small tubes, jig chunks and misc junk.

Lead & Hook Box....lots of jig heads, worm weights, and hooks...

Misc Crankbait Box...Warts, Jitterbugs, Sammy's, Poppers, A Rattle Trap or two, A devils horse, a spook or two.... You name it...it might be in there.

Spinnerbait, Buzzer, and Jig box..Buzzers see the most action and I carry 3 types. Single blade buzzers..regular & 3 wing, and the B-2....Jigs...mostly Eakins Jigs, some rabbit jigs, marabous and bucktail jigs....Spinner baits...nothing special there either.

If the water is murky, I'll throw a bigger silicon skirt jig with a bulkier trailer and a rattle,

Not anymore you won't. You quit carrying them, "FROM HERE ON OUT",... remember ? LOL

Al, What's this "wiggle wart modifying" thing about, care to elaborate ?

What is it about WW's anyway do ya think ? Is it the overall shape, the wobble, or what is it that makes them so awesome ? The man that designed the Wiggle Wart should be inducted into the Bass fishing Hall of Fame, seriously.

That's a great idea to build confidence in a new bait. But what if you catch a fish, switch lures, and catch nothing the rest of the day? Could you make it all day without going back to the original lure? I couldn't. I'd last about two minutes. If something is working, I usually stick with it until it stops working, and that's probably why I use so few lures.

That is where you have to be disciplined. I completely agree that it can become frustrating. But wait until you up the ante to 5 fish per plug. Now I don't do this every time I go floating, but I do it quite a bit. I usually save this for the better days. That is also why I carry 4 rods. :P

Another thing I like to do is when the fish are biting and I catch a few on a certain plug, I will change to a different color of the same plug. It can be interesting to see how many colors you can use and still catch fish.

A comment on all three points:

Dammit. I guess I've already screwed myself with my own rules. Oh well.

I also want to know how Al modifies Wiggle Warts and I want to know what his homemade "twin spins" and "subwalk" look like, but he's not telling. I've brought it up before and he's got a real sly way of pretending he doesn't notice. I guess he can't give up all his secrets. <_<

I second that motion on the Wiggle Wart guy. You can't get a better crankbait for my 5 bucks, and they've been around forever. Can you imagine the millions of fish they've caught?

I've paired down my arsenal over the years. I mainly only wade and canoe fish for smallies in smaller streams and headwaters on some of the larger rivers. PC

I will tell you guy's a couple of mod's that I like to do. I figure that is what this place is for. I will tell just about anything short of where I was. ;) One I like to do is add gold hooks when I break one or just change them out for one reason or another. I don't know if it really helps but I like to think it does. I usually only do it on the rear hook.

Another one I used to do to crankbaits was to take some colored pipe cleaner and wrap around the shank of the hook. I used to like to use orange or purple or a bright green.

PC beat me to the punch but, here is most of what I like to carry. The only thing I didn't take a pic of was the soft plastics.
