Wheatenheimer Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I sold your set on ebay. What days in Feb? I'll see if we can get together at least once. Going to be off Feb 11 - 20.
Thom Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Ronnie No apologies necessary. I am sure like all of the tyers appreciate someone to take this project on and the flies will all be ready for testing this spring. After all it is titled "warm water flies". I am hoping to get down to Taney sometime in Feb or March maybe when the shad kill comes through. Even I can get bit then providing the water isn't boiling through the uppers like it often is this time of the year. Tight linesThom Thom Harvengt
ness Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 GOt the flies today. Ronnie -- thanks for putting all this together. Man, seeing all these really gives me the itch for spring fishing. Won't belong, I suppose. Good looking stuff. That crawdad is amazing looking, and love it on the bent hook. John
DaddyO Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I received my flies in the mail today in the snow storm. Ha!! Warm Water flies in a snow storm. They all look great! Thank you to everyone that participated and Flysmallie for hosting the event. My only disappointment was that my set only consisted of 11 flies. I didn't receive one of Duane's famous crawfish flies. Dang it!! DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.

Whoa, what's up with this upgraded crap? You mean mine is already last years model? I don't know if I could ever even bring myself to fish it anyway. That's one of those flies I would lose on the first cast and I probably can't reproduce one of those. Â Â
Thom Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 The flies are in the mail, and for the record my 16 year old daughter thinks we are all retards. Got my flies in the mail today. I only got 11 flies. All but the crawdaddy by duckydoty. HMMMM? what is up with that? All of the others are reallly great flies .... I can't wait to try them out... Thanks again all for the great flies. Thom Harvengt
Thom Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 NOT Well it was worth a try to get the upgraded newest version. Yes I did get all 12 and what a great collection. Thom Thom Harvengt
