i wonder how much of that is nerves reacting?

Yeah well, I disclosed my monkey and Spider issues over on Riversmallies awhile back, and was suprised (and somewhat pleased) to hear that I am not alone. The concensus was that those who were uneffected by monkeys had issues with Clowns, but not vice-versa. Interesting hu? :D

Nope, Beverly the crackhead Ape is being replaced by our new-age mascot... a big Alligator in tattered bibs and a straw hat. "Wally" ya know. (of who's namesake is STILL at large).

Hmm...I don't think I have any issues with clowns or monkeys. But you put the two of them together in the same room, and I'm out'a there.

darn that is just sad that people would do that. Crack it good over the head with something a couple times if need be, before you put it through something like that at least. What good does it do you to have it still alive for that kind of ordeal.

Their over here too.

I woke up one night camping along the river around July 4,hear Firecrackers going off and Kids laughing. They had a Gar poking Holes in it,putting Firecrackers in and lighting them.I went out,cut the fishes head off throwed it in the river told the Boys what I thought.

Then just the other day a woman called me said her neighbor was suppose to be taking care of Her dog while she was on Vacation.Well the neighbor had called her said her Dog had died. This woman calls me asked if I would go do something with this Dog.I said sure.

I'm thinking dead only most couple days no problem.Wrong I get there smell met me before I got close, after getting sick several times get up there the Dog was falling apart.I took care of it.

I come to the conclusion the neighbor hadn't checked on the Dog much less fed and watered it until just about time the Owner was due Home.

cosmically, it probably all works out.

I didn't think that deep but you might onto something now that you mention it . ;)

Their over here too.

Yup, sadly there's a worldwide abundance of people who get some kind of rush out of doing that to something that can't return the favor in some form.

I rarely visit the carp forum, but I saw this topic and had to get in on it. My friends and I are huge sushi fans, but we spend all our money on fishing stuff, so we usually just make it at home and have a "sushi party." A couple weeks ago, we headed out and caught about 30 5"-6" craws and yep, you guessed it! I created what I am now calling the "Bayou Roll." It has crawfish tail & claw meat (boiled of course), shrimp, celery, red pepper, garlic butter, and a topping of Louisiana hot sauce. It was hands down the most popular roll at our last get-together, even beat out the deep fried ones. One of my close freinds who normally won't eat any of our river caught meals said it was one of the best rolls she ever had. Try it! You'd be amazed at what you can create for a fraction of the price of a sushi bar!

Here are a few pics of the process, start to finish:

And yes folks, the craws were boiled alive, :bouaaaaah: but they weren't still snapping their pincers while we were eating them, so don't sweat it too much. :secret-laugh:
