Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 20, 2009 Author Root Admin Posted December 20, 2009 I still can't get any of the buttons to work when I post. No emoticons, spellcheck,or fonts and colors. Can someone explain how to use multiple quotes? It was pretty easy under the old format. I'm not complaining, I just need a little help with a few things to make my "Forum Experience" a little better. And, I do understand that Phil has his hands full with this right now. Multi-quotes, I have no idea. What browser are you using? Are you posting on the quick post or full editor? These are questions the tech guys are going to ask.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 20, 2009 Author Root Admin Posted December 20, 2009 Just out of curiosity, Why was this done? I am liking the new format so far, I'm just curious, thats all It's an upgrade from 2. to 3. version. If and when I were to add a new feature to the forum, I would need to upgrade to 3. I didn't realize it would be this drastic of a change. Wish I didn't do it.
Members knuck Posted December 20, 2009 Members Posted December 20, 2009 I was just getting to the point where I could post and navigate on the old site, still trying to figure out a way to reduce the size of a photo I would like to use for my profile pic. I have tried several times and was hoping the sites reducer would help get the image down to an acceptable size, no luck. Change is typically for the best, my problem is I am always a little reluctant to jump in. Could be an age thing. Steve in STL
stone9-7=2 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I like the new look. It runs & load a lot slower than the old one though.....

LOL Right now I'm typing on Internet Explore and still don't have the use of the necessary buttons. Thanks If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ness Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Can Explorer and get the free Mozilla Firefox. Or get a Mac. John

As far as most of the other stuff, I think it is working about the same, just a little different look. I am not sure about posting a photo though. Anybody tried that yet? My only complaint thus far would be all the shades of blue. But like others, I really liked the old format. drew03cmc Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Buzz, Firefox runs this board flawlessly, but I am a fan of the old boards. You freakin' multi-quoters need to educate a kid on how to do it...I have tried, and ended up with one quote from one post. Andy
Members kdan Posted December 20, 2009 Members Posted December 20, 2009 I don't like change, it makes me step out of my comfort zone. But, as with everything else, I will get used to it.

Use the Photobucket IMG tabs...Example: Well, I thought it was anyway...won't work for me either. Andy
