stlfisher Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Thanks Stlfisher. I was kind of hoping for some tail water action. But when my mother in law gets here I'll change that tune in second. SIO3 Nothing like the inlaws to make you want to leave the house in a down pour. Judging from some other posts it looks like you might be able to get some fishing at a tailwater afterall. Good luck if you head out.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 My in-laws always tell everyone, "Man he must really love Arkansas because every time we come over that's where he's going" I think I'm headed to MH in the morning. SIO3
stlfisher Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I know that feeling all to well. Just don't talk to highly of Arkansas they may want to come with you next time.

flytyer57 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Norfork tailwater will not be affected by the rain, lake norfork is down quite a bit and it will still be clear. Norfork @ 2PM was still more than a foot below the top of power pool or as some would say below flood pool. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

flytyer57 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 it has come up quite a bit then. Not really. As of 9 PM. the level has only risen .39 feet since 11 PM last nite. Now Crooked Creek has really risen. That is up almost 2 feet and over 3000 cfs and still climbing. Care to fish Crooked Creek tomorrow? There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
