ollie
That's what I was afraid of, you know how I feel about Shoal, so I guess there will be more fish for you to catch this time around! flytyer57
When are we going to have the October "jet Boat " fest? When your jet boat holds 50 guys and their equipment? There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
drew03cmc
Shoal creek sounds good, but is there anything in between Neosho and Mt. Home so we don't have to drive so far? You are worried about a long drive? KC and I would be making a 3.5 hour pilgrimage to make this shendig. I don't mind where we are floating or fishing, just that we can get something figured out. If I can come, I won't know until the week of more than likely. Andy
Chief Grey Bear
Shoal creek sounds good, but is there anything in between Neosho and Mt. Home so we don't have to drive so far? I am sure there are lots of places. But as I pointed out in my reasons for having it here, do you know of any places that can accomodate all of my points? And the more I think about it, I think we need to keep it in the same spot every year. Much like the big shindig they have every new years at Taney. Nobody complains about that??????? That's what I was afraid of, you know how I feel about Shoal, so I guess there will be more fish for you to catch this time around! Yes Ollie. But it is more about the comradery than the fishing. Come on out this time. We had a great turn out on the spring float. It was really a good time meeting new and old friensd that all have a common bond. snagged in outlet 3
I might have to try and make it this time. Do you have anything closer to St Louis though, so my drive isn't too far? SIO3
Trout Commander
I would love to make this trip as well. It would be nice to meet some more guys from this board and I am sure I could learn a thing or two if I paid attention. Lord knows there is a ton I don't know. I too however won't know until nearly the week before if I will be able to make. Oh and can I bum a ride in someones canoe? I am young and can paddle all day long and have decent skills. I can back float pretty well but I would hate to be hitting people and trees/bank with my gear since I wouldn't be able to see where I could cast... I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Chief Grey Bear
I might have to try and make it this time. Do you have anything closer to St Louis though, so my drive isn't too far? SIO3 I wish I could accomodate everyone but, alas, I can't. FT57 would like it closer to him, the eastern guy's would like it closer to them and the KC guy's would like it closer to them. And I wish I could do that. But moving it closer to one, does not make it closer for another. Maybe I should take this thing on the road and make it a tour. I really hope you can make it though. I know there are quite a few people over here, including me, that would love to meet you. Oh and can I bum a ride in someones canoe? I am sure you can. We will find a ride for you one way or another.
