eric1978 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 3 people jump my bones and there's been 1,500 views and there are something like 6,000 members. Get it now? The rest of your post is just nonsense. 6,000 members, and how many of them are active? The majority of those views are from the same 15-20 people who are either involved in or are keeping up with this thread, and most of the remainder are from people who never post. What's your point anyway? 1,500 views and only three (actually at least four) people find your constant, unnecessary and unwanted intervention annoying? Go make a citizens arrest or something if you feel the need to assert your authority. Keep it going if you wish...you led us here after all. I'm bored with it, but I'll keep playing the game if you feel you must.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I don't believe Missouri is party to the floatable stream law, and as such its always open to interpretation. If anyone wants to test it, go float the Osage Fork through Empire ranch and lets us know how you come out. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members parachiteadams39 Posted November 10, 2010 Members Posted November 10, 2010 At the risk of brining opprobrium down on myself, maybe we should get back on topic here, end the personal stuff. Or just agree that the topic's played out and move on.
eric1978 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 opprobrium Good word...had to look that one up. This train has gone and wrecked in dramatic fashion, and I think it's carried its last load of cargo.
ness Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 When I hear that whistle blowin' I hang my head and cry. John
Terry Beeson Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 ...The majority of those views are from the same 15-20 people... I disagree Eric... I think the majority of those views are from you and me... Oh wait... that was personal... but not really an attack, right? OK... So... Wayne... Good example on the Osage. Anyone volunteer for that trip? Keep us informed!!! TIGHT LINES, YA'LL  "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
eric1978 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I disagree Eric... I think the majority of those views are from you and me... Touché. And all's well that ends well, I s'pose. But I know we had it comin', I know we disagree, But these threads just keep a-movin', And that's what tortures me.
ness Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 When I was just a young boy My mamma told be son Someday you'll meet a dreamer Whose life has just begun And then there'll be another A name like Mic-O-Say They'll say he has a good heart You serious? No way! But tell them how they should be They'll soon see things your way Just know that you can't cure them It's in their DNA John
ozark trout fisher Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 That was a fun one. I haven't seen anything quite like that in a while. Arguments are good-politics don't even bother me, but that was kinda ridiculous. Even I wouldn't have even said some of that stuff and you know me. I couldn't care less what folks on here say to one another, but I must tell you that no one came out of that looking like anything but a child.
Trout Commander Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 before we close this out, I'm up for being part of the test case @ Rock Bridge. ...so long as someone else foots the bill! I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
