We are leaving in the morning - we'll be on the water by noon tomorrow hopefully. I'll be in a blue and black dual console Triton TR186 (my brother will be with me). We're putting in at the dam and will probably head towards Indian creek.

Fished last night 530-7...could not get a bite on a spook and changed to a redfin and caught 6 keepers, and lost a really nice toad at the boat. I was in dam area, tons of shad, but very few fish busting, none in fact. My fish came 12-40 fow, over gravel flats and then over steep banks.

I'll be out this weekend, I have a red/silver champ, with black 200hp johnson if you wave me down, lets talk.

Well my plan got a little kink put in it but I got to fish for a little while this morning before my mother had a computer crisis that forced me to leave the lake at 11:15am. Things were a little slower this morning but I managed 9 bass with 4 good ones...all on a blade only fished 4 places before I left. I didn't try anything else so I still caught them back 3rd in really shallow water. I had 7 others swipe at it but they weren't going good just yet. I figure anyone who fished from noon on killed them.

If it was me with the conditions tomorrow I would be fishing some clear water...just my opinion. I am still mad at my mother for getting a computer virus that forced me off the water because they were really starting to bite when I left...caught 3 of my keepers from 10:45 to 11:15. I might try to head back down on Sunday.

Guess I need a lesson. A buddy and I fished hard yesterday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. from KC to Indian Point and barely managed to beat out a limit between us, fishing from our own boats. I hurled a spinnerbait nearly all day. Ran into several others who said they struggled too.

Guys you're depressing me. I was going to come down tomorrow with my ankle biter and try to catch a few. Looks like we'll hop over to Taney and stir up the trout.

It seemed much tougher yesterday for some reason...I fished from 7am until 11:15am and only caught 9 with 4 keepers. I pulled into one wind blown bay around 10:30 and caught 3 good keeper brownies in 40 minutes otherwise my little short trip wouldn't have been very good at all. My plan is to fish all day tomorrow and hopefully the bass feel like playing.

Great reports and pix! It's always a treat reading about the activity on The Rock, when I can't make it down.

And.........a bit off topic:

-

For those who described their boats to help other OAF members look out for them; dont forget the official OAF stickers Phil has available They're just the right size! Highly visible from a distance, but small enough to be discrete. (3 inches in diameter..............and $3 for a pair.....which I think included shipping?.......dirt cheap!:D )

-

I find it FAR too difficult to remember peoples boat details that they mention in a thread.

Here's a link to the stickers:
