KATroutman13
I always listened to some rock (usually late 60's and 70's stuff), country music and some newer rock like pearl jam or Red Hot Chili Peppers. Californication can really get the blood pumping on that long drive back. Now it's mostly country and rocking country. Bands like Reckless Kelly, Micky and the Motorcars, Randy Rogers Band and maybe some Lucero or Drive By Truckers, depending on who's driving. Where do you go to law school, TF? By the way, Neil Young is GREAT bar review music.
ness
But for me, to really feel like I'm on a fishing trip, it's gotta be a Neil Young type musician, 1960's-70's folk type singer. Dylan is right up there, reminds me alot of the white river. I love alot of Marchall Tucker Band, and that is on the playlist frequently. Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4-a8zh0m9c Someone put some time into that and I can't think of a better video for Marshall Tucker Band than this video. Good stuff there. Also: Pure Prairie League, Allman Bros. Dallas: sure glad you're finally over the Streisand kick. John
Trout Commander
JDC are you in law school? No I am not. I am still pre law but have been kicking around the idea of going another route lately. My wife is 3 semesters away from dental school at UMKC barring an epic fail on her DAT in December. I usually only carry 9 hours/semester and work full time and she carries ~21/semester and doesn't work so even though I graduated '07 and her '08 she is well ahead of me and is slated to be nearly done with dental school by the time I start law school. '85 would put you at L2 or L3 right??? ....some would call me a wigger Ditto. I've caught some funny looks pulling into the hatchery parking lot at Taney with my windows down listening to (not blaring) Lill Wayne. That's where the wiggerness(?) stops though. I don't don't partake in pants on the ground pants on the ground. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. DaddyO
In addition to some of the fine,60's and 70's, artists that were mentioned, I have to throw in some Stevie Ray Vaughn!! DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.

flytyer57
Nickleback, Seether, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Korn, Evanescence, Likin Park, Staind... There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
stlfisher
Mine varies. Last trip it was a Guns and Roses and Metallica. My collection is mostly rock and metal. I save Kenny G and Michael Bolton for bath time with a box of Franzia and a couple of drunken floaters.
