I take full credit for Bowe and Cassel's turnaround, I think they must have read this thread and been motivated. Defense is a different team in Arrowhead but if they win out at home looking at 9-7 and if we can sneak out 1 more road win maybe playoffs. I hate to say it but GO DENVER!

A lot more of the teams success, at this point, depends on Cassel. Bowe isn't the only receiver and his inconsistancy since he was drafted averages him out good at best. The game sunday simply highlights the difference between a good mediocre QB and a very good one and it all about inches. Cassel has a bad habit of barely missing. On far too many crossing patterns he is slightly off and that slight miss results in the receiver losing his momentum or his balance and the ability to go down field with any authority. The same can often be said of his screens. Sunday Cassel was on and the results were obvious.

If he becomes consistent in his pinpoint accuracy KC will be a very good team, but?

Yeah it is, as they say, a quarterbacks league. If Cassel suddenly transforms himself into the second coming of Peyton Manning, then the Chiefs will be a serious contender.

San Diego looked very good last night. Even without Gates. And I believe Vincent Jackson will be back soon.

Yeah, he looks phenomenal lately. Patient, quick, slippery. Amazing to see him grabbed and get 3, 4, 5 more yards. Jones is no slouch either. Love to see the slants to Bowe too. His head finally seems right.

Sounds like everyone is drinking the red cool aid. Me too! Hope they can keep it up, looking well balanced and finally the defense played pretty good on the road. Haley seems to have settled into his own, not making as many bonehead calls and if we get McCluster back I think the sky's the limit. May come down to the San Diego game as to whether we make the playoffs or not. Can't figure out how to change the name of this thread, but I was just kidding.
