flytyer57 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I didn't think what we drove or owned or used had anything to with getting killed by terrorist. They pretty much like to kill all of us infidels. I figure you may not be around for me to complain to anyway. Haven't you been listening to the troops coming home from Iraq? Have you seen the comercials about their dying for oil is contributing the terrorist cause? I guess some people keep hiding their heads in the sand and don't want to believe what is going on around them. And if I am killed by a terrorist, I hope my family complains to all of you who are hiding your heads up the asses of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck trying to believe none of what is real is real. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
eric1978 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 It may be old but I would hate for people on the forum to forget the kind of person you are. As far as I can tell, you've made one friend here who secretly thinks you're a moron. I wouldn't worry about what people think of me. I'm done trying to help. Goodbye.

Now just tell me which branch of the service did you serve in. I have talked to many returning Soldiers and they have all been proud to have served our country in its war on terrorism. If if was a fight about the oil then we would be shipping it from Iraq for free. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
Greg Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 It's interesting no one's really talking about the original poll? 74 votes in and 59% voted "humans have NOT had a significant impact on global warming". Interesting. I voted yes. I think emissions, CO2 gasses (manmade) and such definitely are impacting overall climate changes. But I remain a bit dubious as to exactly how much? I just don't think scientists are that sure regarding the natural processes vs manmade. I also agree with several others that a primary problem is the ever burgeoning/growing human population. Just MHO but the responsible thing would be to somehow put a limit of 2 children per couple. How you do that without trampling on everyone's civil and religious liberties is another matter. And I'm definitely not a "liberal douchebag" (for the record). jdmidwest Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 How in the hell are you going to call ME out on this? I didn't start this, I'm throwing in MY opinion after at least 10 others have before me. I have just as much a right to say what I want as you do. But you're going to call me out on this? You're awesome, bro. Thanks, but you called me first. BTW, I am white, don't call me bro. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Wayne SW/MO Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 This sounds EXACTLY like something you'd hear from a spoiled, snotty sixteen year old girl. Sounds more like a member of the Tea Party to me. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
