Brian Sloss Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'll be making an announcement when the website has been completely finished, it is a work in progress right now. Cricket, The prices are still very reasonable, but we did have to raise them a bit as we now have a mortgage on them and we also expanded the satellite TV offerings. We will also be adding our own touches over the next few months. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497

Members rgriff49 Posted January 17, 2011 Members Posted January 17, 2011 Cricket, There are no plans for a permanent poker table in any of the cottages but with advance notice I can have one available or direct you to the nearest friendly game! Also, we have free wifi at one of the cottages - that could fuel or quench a poker thirst! ryan
Gavin Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 If your handy with a table saw, you could build a packable folding model....The legs are galvanized pipe attached with some pipe fittings, that and a couple door hinges and your in business. Here they are when assemled, and there folded & packed in the silver canoe.
Chris Gates Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Ha! That is great Gavin, Im pretty sure that is the only poker table to sit on the Current River. Classic!
rps Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 party tent - check; stove - check; wood - check; poker tables - check; dart board - check; did anyone remember the keg tap? did anyone remember the keg tap? darn!
Gavin Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Kegs arent allowed on the river...but the topic has come up before !
rps Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Seriously? You have to wonder what circumstances must have happened for any law making group to even consider, much less make, such a rule. I thought I was making up something absurd.
eric1978 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 You have to wonder You don't have to wonder...just go out and watch the idiots between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and you'll understand why.
Gavin Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 The ban only applies to the Current & Jack's fork...And Eric is right...the Park Super wanted to crack down a couple years ago so he wrote a regulation banning kegs, beer bongs, jello shots, mardi gras beads, etc...Nobody's died of thirst down there yet...but I dont miss the litter that came with the beads & jello shots. Cheers.
