eric1978 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Fearful fifth.....???? lol, man I hate crazy libs. 20% of Americans....the wacked out left hates more than 20%..... they hate America in general. Nope. We just wanna fix it.
flytyer57 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Now man is almost extinct in MO. So long as you all don't just come down here to AR and screw thing up like you did in MO, I'm fine with it. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Smalliebigs Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Nope. We just wanna fix it. Man, I hope you are not part of what I would consider the extreme left?? If you are, oh well....just don't try fixing my , I'm fine....just stay out of my life and my famly's life that's all I ask.Go help the individuals in this country that can't help themselves or don't want to. I have for 41 years...knock on wood, been able to do whatever I have needed for myself and my family, there's not alot in my life that I need fixed that I can'y fix myself.I am a VERY happy individual, I don't need some want to be blueblood, elitist, scumbag who's been siting in a cocktail party in Cambridge, MA trying to tell me what's good for me. I chuckle to myself everytime I hear the "extreme" left go on the attack when they think an individuals thought process is not their own. They call them fearful or stupid, I read someone on this forum say that is was a waste of tax dollars for the individual that disagreed with them to be educated. It's all funny to me because I will be on the river if you need me, thinking of a better way to chase the smallies. Hey, I know I'm very conservative on some issues and on others somewhat liberal.Like Chris Rock once said..."There's I'm conservative about and there's I'm liberal about:: Crime-I'm conservative. Prostitution- I'm liberal"
eric1978 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Well I've been to Cambridge, but I never went to a cocktail party there, so...
flytyer57 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Funny how it's the liberals who are more concerned with conservation and passing laws to keep our water, air etc clean so we can pursue our favorite sports and not have to worry too much about some unregulated company dumping poisons into our environment. Yet it those same liberals who are blasted by the conservative pundits every time they try to make our outdoors more enjoyable. Go figure. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Danoinark Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 The next person who uses profanity and I have to edit it will cause this thread to close. Phil and I talked about this in other threads and I am not going to continually have to go in and edit items that people should have the decency to leave out. There are those who have asked us to not allow it primarily because their children and others who may be offended sometimes come to this site to read and learn. Sorry this is just the way it is going to be. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Chief Grey Bear Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) is not state or local. It is Federal Grant money. MDC matches funds, but without the Grant, it would not happen. Ducks.org on NAWCA Yer right. I botched that one. Got up too early this morning for myself I guess. Man, I hope you are not part of what I would consider the extreme left?? Hey, I know I'm very conservative on some issues and on others somewhat liberal.Like Chris Rock once said..."There's I'm conservative about and there's I'm liberal about:: Crime-I'm conservative. Prostitution- I'm liberal" Well, everytime you go outdoors to enjoy it, you first get down on both knees and bow your head and pray that the "liberals" had the testicular fortitude to create the laws and regulations that they did. Because if they hadn't and we kept going with the attitude that I can do whatever the _____ I want, there would not be one tree, one gallon of clean water, one pocket of clean air, or one mountain that hadn't been brought down. Some things are more important than money and self gradifcation. At least to a liberal. Wayne SW/MO Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 So long as you all don't just come down here to AR and screw thing up like you did in MO, I'm fine with it. Having lived close to our brothers in AR for probably more years than you, I can tell you I can't remember a time when they need any help in screwing things up. While a lot of states have caught up with MO's MDC, there was a time when t was one of the countries models in wildlife management. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Well you're all wrong about the political aspect, and I'm old enough to know. It was a moderate, southern, Democrat state government that that removed themselves from the mix. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
jdmidwest Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 So I guess you're saying you have a problem with conservation? I don't understand what your scenarios are supposed to suggest. The original posting was slamming the MDC, the persons that are responsible for conservation, so I assumed all in support have a problem with conservation. Conservation is not only letting everything return to its natural state of balance, that will be impossible until the population of man returns to its level when nature was in harmony with itself. The agencies that protect conservation are funded by man thru the Pittman tax on sporting goods, sales tax on items purchased in this state, and licenses. If man is eliminated, there will be no taxes and licenses, so no conservation. Modern conservation management balances man's uses of the land to best conserve the natural environment. And at least in MO, I can eat most fish and not have to worry about the mercury in them like in Ark. The only thing we have is some Dioxin in rough fish in the Missouri/Mississippi River basins.
