troutgnat Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Water was off at 11am on Sat. Hit the handicapp access and was already a good ways upstream when the water was finally down for good. I had 3 of the 4 species for a grand slam and my buddy did it with the only brookie of the day caught on a Renegade dry fly. Between the two of us we had 68 fish by dark. We caught them all on a wide assortment of flys. But, most were on a scud and midge. Drys, Cracklebacks and small woolies got their share. Company on the water was minimal. Just learning about the Craclebacks...did you catch them on the CBs dry, wet, or both?
eric1978 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 I resized your images and added them to your report for you. That poor brookie sure looked beat up, but still pretty!
Wheatenheimer Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 That is cute, the two of you have matching hat's! Were you wearing you matching underwear too? Nice job, Darren! We need to get together and fish sometime soon! The Renegade has always been one of Eddies favorite Dry's! Thanks for posting!
