dwiebenga Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I was in BP this afternoon, and was told by one of the fishing guys that the RC line may not be around much longer. Evidently, Clunn and Morris had a falling out. Any truth to these rumors?

Evidently, Clunn and Morris had a falling out. Any truth to these rumors? I don't know - but everything marked "RC" and "Lucky Craft" I saw at the main store today was marked down on clearance.
Quillback Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I like the RC wake baits, but they ain't cheap. Maybe this will be a good thing and the RC stuff will be offered at the other tackle sites.
Members Tom Tricamo Posted February 14, 2011 Members Posted February 14, 2011 Rather coincidentally, Rick Clunn's segment, the Art of Angling, on the Bass Pro Shop's "The Bass Pros" show on Versus has been replaced with a segment with KVD.
dwiebenga Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Tackle Warehouse is now carrying Lucky E Strike Rick Clunn Square Bill crank baits. Rumor must be true.
Ham Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Rick Clunn has had a long standing relationship with Lucky E Strike lures. I don't think those crank baits coming out lends any credence to the above rumors. Select sizes and colors of those LC RC baits have been marked down for months. IF they were getting rid of that line of baits, why would they still be introducing new colors and be featured in the Spring Classic flyer? IF they really wanted to rid themselves of the 1000's of baits in stock, I would think they would all be marked down online not just a few sizes and colors. dwiebenga Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Good point....I love the bait and don't want to see it go away
