It's not so much of a political issue as it only calls for the removal of people like this panty sucking Cathorn.

It will indeed be a good day if/ when he is voted out.

I am certainly ready to contact my representative the moment this looks bill (or any other similar bill) looks like getting anywhere. I said after their failure to prosecute the folks that shot the Mt. Lions that I wasn't too keen on defending the MDC, and I'm still not. But the fate of all sportsmen in Missouri is tied with theirs, and as it is they generally do a pretty darn good job.

The real threat to the MDC isn't really the Cathorn guy-without support he can't do a darned thing. But if there was ever a time when a guy like him could possibly gain traction, it's now. I don't think this will come to anything this time around, and probably not this year. But its still good to keep a close eye on this.

That's Tea Party......hopefully you're not to intimate with the Tea Bag term???? I think it's funny how generally the left is okay with associating Tea Bagging with the Tea Party. If people on the right were to make a play on words about Democrats with such a vile, disgusting act such as that MSNBC, CNN and every other liberal news outlet would be crying bloody murder. Sorry Chief, polictical rant over..........I totally agree with you on this by the way other than the tea bagger term.

Wait, what's wrong with tea-bagging?

You mention terminology, but nothing is as disrespectful as the right calling the healthcare bill Obamacare. What's good for one must be good for the other, no?

Anyway, enough politicking. This Cauthorn d-bag needs to get out of office immediately. I am not a resident of Missouri right now, but the way I see it, I spend more of my recreation dollars in Missouri than Kansas, so I have an axe to grind in this matter. MDC is vital to both sustaining and improving the sporting experience in Missouri.

The Healthcare bill was introduced and pushed thru by Obama and the leaders of his party, hence the name. I don't see it as being disrespectful as he seems mighty proud of the bill. Would you have called it Bushcare? Something that huge should have been put to a popular vote, much like the consideration of the sales tax we were discussing.

Invoking the Tea Party in a conversation regarding the MDC and sales tax was a little off base don't you think? The only comparison I can make out of it is the Tea Party seems to think most important legislature should be decided by popular vote and not party controlled politics.

Like Al stated, it is the ones that don't appreciate or enjoy what the MDC provides that are screaming for the tax vote. I disagree with Tim, the numbers of people that feel the need for what the MDC provides are going away and a popular vote may not turn out like we would want it.

Did the people get to vote on the Bush tax cuts? No. Did the people get to vote on goinig to war for no reason? No. And that tax in MO for the MDC was voted on by the people.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

It took 15 months. Not exactly rammed down your throat as they would like you to believe. Plenty of time to have your aids read it for you. Hey, would you like to talk about the no-bid contracts to rebuild issued to you know who within days of the occupation of Iraq???

The mention of the Tea Baggers was not in regard of the MDC sales tax. It was inregards to the Mt. Lions. But like the Tea Baggers, we recognize the spin.

Pushed through? He caved to everything the right wanted done. If he was to be proud of that bill, he should have stuck to his guns on getting done what he wanted to get done.

Funny how votes only matter when things get passed through that are not in line with right wing beliefs.

Spin is easy to recognize. Turn off the Fox News and the nutjob O'Reilly.

Wow. I feel a big red closed sign coming to this topic.

I'm surprised it made it this long.
