Has anyone heard of this fashion trend that is making whiting euro hackle extremely expensive? I have never bought euro hackle before, but from what I've gathered the prices on these things have at least doubled due to fashion trends. I guess hippies used to wear flowers in their hair, now my generation wants to wear chicken feathers. Good grief. I saw one cape that was hot pink on ebay going for around 100 dollars, and although I could be wrong, that full saddles went for around 50 dollars or so. Check out this link.

Yea, I just got an e-mail from a flyshop wanting to buy grizzly saddles from tyers saying they will pay top dollar for them. When the fad ends, and it will end, we can probably pick them up on flea bay for next to nothing.

Yeah it's been going on for a while now. Sat next to a young college student on a plane last week that had a few in her hair. She paid somewhere around 150 to get them "installed?".

It's true the fad will end, but like every other fad, it's just getting started around here.
