OzarksRiverman Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 A buddy of mine is wanting to float while we got this flood on. Would any of the outfitters put anybody on the river when it's like this?

For liability reasons, I would highly doubt that. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
gotmuddy Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 the buffalo river is officially closed once the gauge at harriet gets 10 foot. It is at 12 now. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Ham Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I floated yesterday and really whacked the smallmouth. I had a lot of chunky fish and one that was over 20 inches. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
West Fork Jason Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Good work sir; I think you timed that flow upswing just right. What part of the river did you float? We're a long ways away from active bronze backs up here. http://www.WestForkJason.com
Ham Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Maimed to Hwy 14. Water temp around 60. Rainy. I've got an extra kayak when you head sown again. I was surprised how somebody were already holding in FAST water. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

I do remember Chippewa Falls having some darn good parties though. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
