Geez, Mitch, I was purposely getting EVERYTHING wrong in there, including the spelling! You'll note that I also got "it's" and "its" wrong. Actually, except for that post, I defy anyone to find a post of mine where I used "you're", "your", "it's", "its", "their", "there", or "they're" wrong...Two excellent English teachers in high school, and an English minor in college.

However, I will admit to sometimes not having a clue on "lain", "laid", "lay", "lie"...can anybody cite the rules for those words?

I've always struggled with "seen" and "saw". I suppose it's cause my family's from Booger County...

I have kept quiet to this debate. I have fished with Phil and from what I know of him he is a realist and he don't let his faith or his political views stop his fishing.

That is what I respect.

Nobody has more opiions than I do and over the years on this forum I see a dog pile with no merit.

OMG: I am agreeing with Trav

I have known Phil or of him for at least 30 years. I have fished with him, talked to him about issues, stayed at his faciilites on and on and never seen anyting but an honest and fair gentleman. He always tries to be fair minded and respect others. I almost fellout of my chair when I read the premise of this thread.

I can tell you that I have been gently and kindly reminded by Phil on ths forum to clean up my posts (far from conservative) . Just do it and the red button will never appear ... don't and it will it is that simple. It is his forum and he has that right and responsibility.

If you just listen to the admins suggestions when it gets testy with language or personal attacts you will never see the RED BUTTON. If you don't you will and for good reason conservative or liberal or in between.

I'm sorry to anyone I offended with this post. This forum is a very good and decent forum compared to some of the others and sometimes it's hard to down shift.

I know Phil is a good and fair man and will always do the right thing.
