LOL... No, but I should have. The sad part is it did look kind of cool, and I can see why it is a fad. Hope it passes soon.

This fad is pretty big down here at U of A- I've already got dibs on several girls' hair hackles. I wonder if they will still tie a fly after being in some chicks hair for a month? One of my friends got a whole peacock eye feather in here hair... as any fly tier knows, those things are fragile... needless to say that didnt last long. Moral of the story- women are insane.

At least you're learning something in school over there.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

Went out to the bar last night and saw 3 or 4 girls with this crap in their hair. I was kind of drunk and they were friends of a friend so I felt the urge to kindly bitch them out. Needless to say, they didn't talk to me for the rest of the night.

My 17 year old daughter is sporting some new hackle as of Friday. It looks pretty cool, don't know if it's $45 worth of cool, but she loves it.

MC's Daughter spent the weekend with us 2 weekends ago, and I whip finished a few in her hair for her. She liked them a lot, even with me using a little super glue to secure the whip finish. She said they stayed in for almost a full week that way. Sfhe had a great time digging through all my hackles.

Oh man you should have used a couple lines like:

I like your feathers...want to see my fly?

or Tickle my a@% with your feather?

I'd end up in jail....but hey kinda funny, maybe.

I'll have to try that on the younger sisters. The "professionally" installed hackle is supposed to last for 2 to 3 months. We will see. She will be happy if it just makes it till prom this weekend.

Ebay- saw 14 feathers, different colors, 12 inches long (no other real description) bid was up to $22.50. For 14 feathers.

Search "saddle feathers hair extensions" on ebay and see what you find.

Heard of some saddles going for up to $200.

If you have some feathers you want to part with, I'd consider ebay and make a little money while the fade lasts.

I was at the Strawberry Festival last weekend and saw a booth set up. They would put 3 feathers in your hair for 15$

Supposed to last like 2 weeks?? Absurd.
