Fishing of course. Not much of a baseball fan, but I have seen a few games lately.

I was fishing, but getting updates during the game. Despite being down 1-0 I like the Cardinals chances. That game on Friday with Carpenter and Halladay was awesome.

Maybe we'll have Cards vs Tigers world series, if so it would be the 4th time these two have matched up in a WS.

Texas VS Cards.. and the NL has home field advantage due to the win at the All Star Game.

The Brewers are done... we have too much game for them. And we know it -- they don't.

Both teams can mash and both teams starting pitching has really struggled as of late. The scores could end up resembling a football game. The national media has us as the underdog which is fine by me, we play better in that role.

I say Cards in 7 and with Holliday as the MVP.

I think we need 2 wins from Carp and then we have a chance. Hard to bet against the Rangers, but the Cards have that Mojo going right now. I expect to catch hell if I'm wrong, but I say Rangers in 7.

We ridded our household of satellite tv. Ch. 27, local FOX, went away, so we can't watch it. I was surprised when I turned on the radio, and the only feed was from ESPN. I miss Mike Shannon on the world series...GO CARDS!!! I'll be tying lots of flies while listening on the radio...may need a new fly box if it goes 7 games.
