Thom Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Being the one not to believe anything the Government tells me and half of what I see them do, I just had to see the final pic of bin Laden. I called a friend in the CIA and called in a favor. I had to trade Leon a photo I took at a frat party with him and a goat getting friendly, but he finally emailed me a pic. I feel closure now. Why would I have ever doubted the reports. Looks like he was shot in the library, and he was armed. I was half expecting something photoshop altered, but it looks real to me. It is definately altered because two shots would not have killed him. He had neither a heart or a brain and those are the locations of the entry of those shots. We know that the whole episode was filmed in a movie set somewhere remote because FOX news has already proved thea the whole thing was staged. I know they are "looking out for us" and providing the truth. Thom Harvengt

Neither should be taken seriously.

But nobody here said MSNBC was trying to disprove that Usama Bin Laden is dead. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Thom Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 "Both Fox News and MSNBC distort the truth to extreme levels to fit their politial agenda. Neither should be taken seriously." They are both entertainment channels. I have seen all of the old Archie Bunker episodes so it is nice to have a good political satire laugh even though neither of those channels intend it to be satire. Thom Harvengt
Mitch f Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 But nobody here said MSNBC was trying to disprove that Usama Bin Laden is dead. Maybe they should start, it might improve their ratings! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
stlfisher Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 But nobody here said MSNBC was trying to disprove that Usama Bin Laden is dead. Right. I am not defending FOX and whatever it is they are saying, and if they are saying it was somehow faked, then that would be pretty much nuts. However, MSNBC does the same types of things as Fox news to brings in its viewers. Bascially, MSNBC make wild claims that border on ridiculious as often as FOX news does.

I'd rather keep watching the Archie Bunker reruns. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
XP 590 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I guess I need new reading glasses. I thought the name of this subforum was "General Angling Discussion", on "Ozark Anglers Forums", where we go to share and gain information about fishing and related topics. I realized the post was probably started to be light hearted or humerous, but as ususal, it's deteriorated into bickering....about news networks? Aren't there pleny of other forums out there for that type of stuff? Am I wrong here? Maybe I'm just cranky with cabin fever and need to hit the water.
